Meeting customer needs by a great variety of surface treatments
Our company is engaged in surface treatment. We are expanding our business mainly by two kinds of plating, decorative plating for outside use and functional plating for equipment. We also perform other kinds of surface treatment, such as anodic oxidation coating (alumite), general coating, evaporation, printing, and laser marking. We have many customers including Canon, Sony, Ricoh, YKK, YKK FPS, and other major companies in Japan. Outside Japan, we do business with Dynacast. We meet customers’ diverse requests for quantities from single pieces to large lots of tens of thousands of pieces. We have an integrated production system from molding to base material processing, polishing, plating, and inspection, thus meeting various requests and increasing our business volume. We received the 2nd Monozukuri Nippon Grand Award - Prime Minister’s Award and several other awards.

[Company strength] In the plating industry, most platers focus on either decorative plating or functional plating. We handle both of these, and have the power, experience, and knowledge to meet customer requests. We are a relatively large company in the plating industry but also remain highly flexible, which is an advantage, able to handle production volumes ranging from one item to tens of thousands of pieces. [Business description] Our main business is plating. We perform decorative plating for outside use and functional plating for equipment. However, our business is not limited to these two kinds of plating but includes other kinds of surface treatment, such as anodic oxidation coating (alumite), general coating, evaporation, printing, and laser marking. [Industry] Plating [Representative's message] We handled many cameras and mobile phones until the collapse of Lehman Brothers. With the changing economic situation, however, the auto-related business has been increasing. We will keep expanding our flexible technical strengths to survive amid such industrial changes. Outside Japan, we established a factory in Thailand two years ago, which is receiving many inquiries and planning to add new plating lines. We will keep the same quality as the factory in Japan to satisfy customers. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We are a development-type plating factory with a history of 80 years, and have three main departments: the decorative plating department, functional plating department, and electronic parts plating department. The decorative plating department is a mass-production factory capable of handling various metal materials (brass, iron, stainless steel, and aluminum, including zinc die-casting and aluminum die-casting). Our main products range widely from parts for digital electric home appliances to ones for architectural hardware, optical and medical equipment, and bagged products. Regarding cast products (ZDC-2), we recently established a total management system for integrated production from mold creation to casting and plating. We also offer consulting on plating related matters.
