Design, manufacture, and sales of laser-based optical equipment
Our company provides laser optical equipment for optical experiments and development to companies and universities engaged in research and development using light. Leveraging the experience and research results acquired, we developed a nanoregion measuring instrument which excels at measuring nanoregion height (plane surface irregularities) by applying optical interference. The nanoregion measuring instrument uses the wavelength of light (632.8 nm) as the reference length and has a resolution of 0.5 nm in the height direction. Even though the instrument is for nanoregion measurement, it does not require such facilities as a vibration-isolated table or vibration-proofing device, and so installation and maintenance costs are unnecessary. The measurement software allows the user to make necessary changes because its resources are changed.
[Company strength] As a manufacturer, we have staff and facilities for sales, designing, manufacturing, and assembling. We manufacture the catalog products using in-house facilities. With few products, we can meet requests for quick turnaround. We have skilled human resources for the technical development of new products. [Business description] Our main business is to design, manufacture, and sell laser-based optical equipment. Customers can select standard products from our catalog. We design and manufacture customized products in-house. We directly sell our products to companies in the US and Germany for overseas expansion. In Japan, we do business with companies and universities engaged in research and development using light. We also have machines and facilities such as machining centers and N/C lathes. We commercialized the products with a subsidy from the Kanto Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry in a three-year New Partnership project. By utilizing optical interference, the products can measure nanoregion height (plane surface irregularities). [Representative's message] When the nanoregion measuring instrument was completed, we exhibited it twice to gauge the reaction of visitors; we attracted more visitors than expected. These days, many nanoregion technologies are being developed and commercialized, and their results and processes always require measurement. Our measuring instrument uses optical reflection but could be applied to bio-related measurement and observation. Since the instrument has strong vibration resistance, it can be used at manufacturing sites or even on a small and simple desk. The instrument can be used for many other purposes. We also provide technical consulting by engineers and a sample measurement service on request.
