We are a casting manufacturer established in 1877. Our company mainly manufactures and sells iron castings for machine tools and industrial machines. We support casting in a wide range of weights from 100 to 3,000 kg, and we have confidence in manufacturing large castings. We have many customers in Japan, including Komatsu NTC, TAKAMAZ Machinery, YKK, Sugino Machine Limited, and Tsune Seiki. We have indirectly exported our products to North America, the EU, China, and Southeast Asia. We have been accumulating knowledge and experience about castings since our foundation. We bring together craftsmen who are well-versed in the flow and contraction characteristics of molten metal with state-of-the-art equipment to satisfy needs for complicated shapes and other requirements. We handle a wide range of castings weighing from 100 to 3,000 kg, but we particularly excel at large castings. We bring together the skills of craftsmen who are well versed in the flow and contraction characteristics of molten metal with state-of-the-art equipment and recent technologies such as inspection equipment. Our technical advantage based on this combination is that we can provide products and quality by maximizing the merits of hand molding (complicated shape processing, fine adjustment, and trial manufacturing). We design casting plans based on the expertise of skilled workers for high-quality, low-cost manufacturing of products with complicated shapes and having many cores. We derive accurate manufacturing processes by making the most of casting simulation (CAE).

Our policy is that Monozukuri craftsmanship is all about crafting people. We focus on cultivating human resources, and consequently on the stable improvement of our technical level. We are making the most of our inherited technology and the latest information technology to create a database through our production management system. This captures the manufacturing know-how and skilled workers’ techniques accumulated on the factory floor. We are attempting to establish the knowledge of our organization in this visualization process. We have no direct overseas transactions. The market is becoming global, so we hope to make the best use of our technology on a global scale by proactively introducing our products at overseas exhibitions.

We have arranged staff in the sales department as a point of contact in charge of new customers. Our technical staff directly visit customers as required to solve technical issues, and also to make better-elaborated proposals. Our company has implemented a production management system to monitor the manufacturing processes for each product. We have various production facilities including four high-frequency induction furnaces and three heat treatment furnaces, and measuring devices such as emission spectrometric analyzers, metallographic microscopes and hardness measuring machines. We can produce around 100 tons of products a month. A four-person team performs process management by checking all the specifications, delivery period and quality. We manage all processes by computer, from order receipt to delivery, in real time, carry out small-quantity, multi-kind production of 800 articles a month, and supply them to about 160 companies. We use various organic self-curing molds (furan molds and alkali phenol molds), and diverse casting techniques such as the Schell mold method in the forming process depending on the material.
