Nakahara Tekkou Co., Ltd.
Experts in lathe processing and machining
A manufacturer of cut processed products, which was established in 1947. We manufacture and sell mainly jigs, machine parts and molds for industrial rubber for automobile parts such as bearing seals and engine gaskets. Our domestic customers include Uchiyama Manufacturing, Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Sumitec, Maruwa Kikai and Izumi Seiki. Our lathe-processed products are mainly small and medium parts with a diameter of less than 200 mm and our machine-processed products are less 600 mm square. We make every effort to meet the needs of our customers, including for heat treatment and surface treatment, thereby expanding our business. Orders for polishing and wire processing are handled by our affiliated companies under our management.
[Company strength] Our processed parts are mainly of a small and medium size, but we actively handle parts that are difficult to process. We make every effort not only to attain the highest quality, but also to meet the required delivery time, thereby preventing lost man-hours in the assembly process at the customer’s site. In addition, we guarantee our parts by integrally receiving orders while selecting the optimum internal and external partners with expert knowledge of precision cutting and various types of treatment and processing. With respect to parts processing based on the drawings received, we ensure that we understand what is required from the drawings supplied by the customer. [Business description] We conduct precision cutting of jigs and machine parts, in addition to manufacturing molds for industrial rubber mainly used in automobiles, etc., such as bearing seals and engine gaskets. Our precision cutting technology cultivated through mold manufacturing is highly evaluated by our customers, which leads to orders for high-precision parts such as for liquid-related equipment, optical equipment and various machines. We are highly experienced in cutting non-ferrous materials such as aluminum and stainless steel, in addition to ferrous materials such as alloy steel. The majority of our lathe-processed products are small and medium parts with a diameter of less than 200 mm, and the majority of our machine-processed products are less than 600 mm square. We also handle requests for heat treatment and surface treatment on a one-time contract basis. Orders for polishing, wire processing, etc. are not handled in house, but are instead are processed at affiliated companies under our management. In addition, we have experience in manufacturing an ultrashort pulse (femtosecond) laser oscillator in house designed by a partner, and experience in manufacturing medical equipment by forming a consortium. [Industry] Metal parts cutting [Strength of products/technologies] Several of our technicians can make molding cutlery for cutting narrow grooves (end face gutter having a width of 1 mm or less with a dimensional tolerance of approximately 20 m), which is necessary for bearing seal mold processing. We handle turning and machining of thin products and processed products requiring a device for chucking, by devising jigs, etc. We consider the usage purpose and other aspects based on the drawings of the ordered parts, and actively provide VE proposals seen from the processor side while reflecting the usage purpose and other aspects in the processing procedure and finishing conditions. [Representative's message] We are not currently planning to expand overseas, but will respond to customers’ requests in the spirit of manufacturing under the slogan “Reduced workload, quick delivery time, improved skills, understanding of materials”. We constantly improve our processing technologies. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] Executive Vice President Sho Nakahara responds to inquiries about our company and requests for processing. We always respond to inquiries, including whether or not it is possible. We do not presently export directly overseas, but we do handle indirect exports via a trading company.
