Yamamoto Co., Ltd.
We have a track record in producing pressed metal products, both with domestic Japanese and overseas customers.
We are a metal stamping manufacturer established in 1973. Our company manufactures and sells mostly precision machine parts. Our business has three pillars. The first consists of our core technologies, such as high-speed pressing, shear plane pressing, and oil-free pressing. The second is our established supply chain network of overseas and domestic Japanese production sites. The third is composed of our wide-ranging, flexible response capabilities that cover from design and prototype making to mass production. These pillars are the support that allows us to satisfy various customer needs, including quick delivery and cost reduction. We have many customers in Japan, such as Panasonic, Shindengen Electric Manufacturing, Mitsumi Electric, Calsonic Kansei, and Hoshiden. Our overseas customers include Hewlett-Packard.
[Company strength] We have realized high quality, quick deliveries, and low costs through the three pillars of our business. The first pillar consists of our core technologies, including high-speed pressing, shear plane pressing, and oil-free pressing. The second is our established supply chain network of overseas and domestic Japanese production sites. The third is composed of our wide-ranging, flexible response capabilities that cover from design and prototype making to mass production. [Business description] Our company manufactures high-quality precision machine parts. This is done by applying our core technologies such as high-speed pressing, shear plane pressing, and oil-free pressing, using stainless steel, copper, nickel, and other metals. [Industry] Metal stamping manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] High-speed foil pressing: We can minimize burrs on foil as thin as 0.05 mm, and products are finished at 1,500 spm per minute (maximum). Metal dome (thin, convex plates): We offer high-speed manufacturing of the metal domes used with the contact springs of tactile and membrane switches. Shear plane pressing: Our precision clearance technology allows for perfect pressing (the shearing plane is pressed almost 100%), even when the product has a thick plate. Oil-free pressing: We manufacture circuit board parts, which are used in industrial device and automobile control units, without using pressing oil. [Representative's message] We will realize the best die precision, the fastest pressing technology, and the finest quality control. This is done by making use of our many years of technology, experience, and track record in manufacturing metal domes (thin, convex plates). Our underlying philosophy is that people are technology. This means that it is our engineers who make the customer’s ideas into reality, not the technology itself. Our stance on people is visible in whatever we do, including prototype making, small lot production, efforts for quick deliveries, and excellent after-sales services. We would love to help, so please consult us. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We have production sites in Japan as well as China and Thailand. We make use of this network of production sites to capture needs for local consumption and local procurement, and also for manufacturing at the most suitable site for each product. We accommodate requests regarding quality, cost, and delivery by making use of these sites either for production or export. We renewed our corporate website last April and actively participate in exhibitions to gather needs information. This is done to communicate our technological strength and acquire more customers. [Market share/Ranking] There is no clear-cut data on our market share, but we assume it must have reached a certain level because we receive orders from many companies. [Awards and media coverage] [Awards] Sainokuni Plant (designated by Saitama Prefecture); Panasonic; ADOMAX. [Media] Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun (September 27, 2013); Press Gijyutsu (2014 January issue); Saitama Excellent Company (Saitama Industrial Promotion Public Corporation).
