[Company strength]
Our major strengths are our broadness and flexibility which enable us to deliver the specifications requested by customers, including complex lens groups and general-purpose lenses. This is partly because we have many business connections in the plastic lens industry through the knowledge of engineers accumulated over 30 years. Another strength is our in-house facilities for production in a clean room for major optical makers.

[Business description]
We manufacture and sell precision transparent parts (lenses, optical waveguides), and are expanding sales channels, with a focus on industrial parts and lenses for LED lighting. We have an ultra-precision lathe processing machine for l ens piece polishing, which is the heart of optical designs and lens dies. We always meet customers’ needs rapidly by using our high technical capabilities.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We have the ability to perform optical designing for ultra-precision transparent parts including plastic lenses and optical waveguides, designing the forming dies used to create such designs, and high-accuracy techniques for die production. We also have an environment (such as a clean room), facilities and manufacturing techniques for manufacturing high-accuracy, high-precision parts. We also have manufacturing techniques including designing forming dies, producing dies, and manufacturing parts, all of which enable short-term delivery and low cost, as for general plastic forming.

We are committed to surviving by taking suitable measures and using many technical channels both inside and outside Japan, to meet the needs of customers around the world. Like a rescue organization, our business motto is “never say no!”. We provide total solutions ranging from the start of die work for general plastic forming parts to parts manufacture, on the basis of techniques cultivated through plastic lens work. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Although we have not focused on sales promotion in recent years, we will actively participate in exhibitions, business negotiation meetings, etc. to distribute information.
Our president used to do most sales work in the past, but we have now improved and established an internal system so that our senior technology managers can participate in all stages of sales activities including the early stage.
We will actively make proposals, and improve not only the accuracy of quotations but also solve customers’ problems. Design and manufacturing managers will also participate in sales activities from an early stage.

We used to have a 30% share of the domestic market for camera lenses of cellular phones.
