[Company strength]
Our company has been involved for many years in large-scale video equipment for public and commercial facilities and in video equipment for broadcasters. During this time, we have built up an impressive portfolio of video and audio signal processing technologies. Our video and audio error detection equipment has been installed at Japanese domestic broadcasting stations that deliver over 4,500 channels. This equipment has a proven track record and is trusted by broadcasting stations operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We can flexibly adapt our development, design, and manufacturing to meet client requests for special orders, small lots, and even mass production. Our strength is working closely with clients to grasp their needs and objectives and deliver the best solution.

[Business description]
Industry trusts our video and audio monitoring products and systems, as indispensable equipment for broadcasting stations, to either prevent broadcasting glitches or quickly restore broadcasts should an outage occur. In addition, we have launched ASP services that protect copyrights and help administrators (such as companies using video sharing sites) struggling with illegal videos on video sharing sites to detect and take down unauthorized videos.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our video and audio error detection equipment identifies errors in video and audio transmitted from broadcasting stations and also screens for video and audio errors in programs or commercials delivered to broadcasting stations. Because of its importance, our equipment is used throughout the broadcasting industry, including satellite broadcasters, cable TV, IP TV, NHK and other terrestrial broadcasting stations, TV programming providers, program production houses, and program distributors. We hold the top domestic market share, with an installation base of more than 4,500 domestic channels (as of November 2015). We have won a Most Outstanding award and other awards in the technical category at the Japan Commercial Broadcasters Association Awards for our joint developments with television networks. Our technologies include video signal delay, segmentation, and capture technologies, as well as subtitling and logo detection technologies.

[Representative's message]
Our company was spun off as an independent company in 2007 from Honko Manufacturing, which has been in business for over 90 years. As such, we inherited a corporate culture of working with priority on speed, along with the curiosity and mindset to take on any new challenge that comes our way. We participate in the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (Inter BEE) each year, where we announce new products and build up sales networks. We also attend the NAB Show by the U.S. National Association of Broadcasters each year to follow the developments in overseas markets and technology and to discover new trends. We strive to capture new business opportunities by accurately tracking market needs and responding to the needs of professionals.



[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We set up direct business accounts with major telecom clients and leading electronic equipment manufacturer clients. The Sales Division handles inquiries from large corporations. Representatives from our Technology Division answer technical questions and visit client premises as needed to resolve issues. We have a system in place for doing business with overseas corporations in English.
