IIDA KOGYO CO., LTD.

Our main business is the production of original laser machining tools for wood carving.

Our company is a machinery manufacturer established in 1936. Our main lines of business are industrial machinery, woodworking machinery, and laser machining tools, which were initially developed for wood carving. We seamlessly manage the entire manufacturing process from design to machining, assembly, and installation under an integrated production system we have established. The know-how we have accumulated in 70 years of operations is saved in the form of CAD data. Using this in combination with the skills of our current experienced engineers allows us to satisfy various customer needs, and further expand our business. We plan to make use of the J-GoodTech matching site to enter into new fields.

[Company strength]
Machine production involves design, machining, assembly, and on-site installation phases. The strength of our company is that we can complete all of these phases in-house. The know-how we have accumulated in 70 years of operation is now saved as CAD data. Using this in combination with the intangible inherited know-how of our current experienced engineers, we can satisfy various new requirements from individual customers by offering optimal machines for their specifications.

[Business description]
Our company was established in 1936 as a bicycle manufacturer. At one time we added printing machines to our operations, but in the past our company manufactured mostly woodworking machinery, which remains one of our core businesses. We made use of the know-how we accumulated as a machinery manufacturer when we started to develop other products to meet ever-changing customer needs. We have designed and manufactured parts for customized industrial machinery, as well as conducting assembly and on-site installation. We modified a laser machining tool that we developed as a woodworking tool so it could be applied to cutting various other materials such as plastics and woven cloth. The three pillars of our business are currently woodworking machinery, laser machining tools, and industrial machinery.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our company can deal with design, machining, assembly, and on-site installation of various machinery, following the specifications given by each customer. We recently modified a laser machining tool that was initially developed for wood carving so it can be used for various other materials, such as plastics and woven cloth. Machining tools usually deal with metal and other ordinary materials, but our company has instead focused on niche needs such as wood carving. We have continued to develop and accumulate know-how for machining uncommon materials. Please contact us to find out more about our know-how.

[Representative's message]
Our company was stablished in 1936 as a bicycle manufacturer, and then manufactured mostly woodworking machinery. The know-how we accumulated in these periods helped us to start our business of industrial machinery design, machining, and on-site installation. We even modified woodworking machinery so that it could cut various other materials, such as plastics and woven cloth. We try to develop products by addressing our customers’ ever-changing needs. J-GoodTech will be a great opportunity for us to meet potential customers from different fields.
