Housen Seisakusho Co., Ltd.

We are a long-established specialist in stainless steel machining of various parts ranging from industrial members to housing members.

We conduct machining and welding of stainless steel parts for food equipment, medical equipment, and semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing equipment and piping members such as joints and valves. Our predecessor, founded as Ishikawa Seisakujo in 1939, provided machined parts mainly for airplane members of the then aircraft manufacturer, Nakajima Hikoki. The current organization, Housen Seisakujo, was founded in 1959. Early on, we started dealing with aircraft components that require higher precision and we are determined to take on new materials and technologies. Hard-to-handle materials that we currently machine or surface-treat include titanium, Inconel, and Hastelloy. We cover the entire range of operations from prototype production to mass-production and high-mix low-volume production.

[Company strength]
In addition to the stainless steel machining technology acquired soon after the foundation of Housen Seisakujo, we have other advanced technologies including welding that can be done under high vacuum, and we are always ready to take on new materials and technologies to enhance our potential. Our production system is designed to flexibly cope with a variety of production operations including prototype production, mass-production, and high-mix low-volume production. Using our technologies, we currently produce materials even in the space and aircraft fields.

[Business description]
Our company was established as Ishikawa Seisakujo in 1939. We provided cut parts mainly for airplane members of the then aircraft manufacturer, Nakajima Hikoki. After World War 2, the current company, Housen Seisakujo, was founded in 1959. We learned how to machine the era’s new material, stainless steel, and have since been manufacturing highly corrosion-resistant joints, piping members such as valves, and welded parts resistant to high vacuum. Using this technology, we now also design, manufacture and sell exterior and gardening articles. Based on our philosophy “Rust-Free Management,” we make every effort to be a unique company that expertly machines difficult-to-cut materials including stainless steel.

Stainless steel machining

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our mission is to enhance our machining technologies and always take on next-generation materials that are difficult to process. We mass-process stainless steel widely used in the food and medical equipment fields as well as titanium, Inconel and Hastelloy used in rockets and aircraft. We continuously upgrade our knowledge on materials, our skills in surface treatment for high corrosion resistance, our machining technologies, and our skills in high-precision assembly in addition to single-part treatment, and we manage our inspection equipment to ensure consistently high quality and workmanship. We constantly improve the machining conditions and methods, and are highly evaluated. We believe it is our core technological strength.

[Representative's message]
We were established as Ishikawa Seisakujo in 1939 and reorganized as Housen Seisakujo in 1959. We conduct machining and welding of stainless steel precision components, manufacture piping members such as valves, and manufacture and sell gardening articles. We are committed to continuously improving our know-how. Now that the number of stainless steel processing companies is decreasing, we make every effort to become the best stainless steel machining company. We intend to provide our customers with the optimum stainless steel machined and processed members for the next 50 or even 100 years.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We intend to participate in exhibitions and business fairs to grasp the needs of visiting companies, clarify the current conditions or problems of the market, and provide proposals that best meet customers’ needs. We also intend to utilize the support programs of administration and public support organizations to improve our own unique technologies, develop new products and members, and use them as new sales promotion tools.
