[Company strength]
We manufacture parts for machine tools, printing machines, conveyance-related equipment, semiconductor production equipment, and liquid-crystal production equipment using our advanced NC machines and general-purpose machines with top priority on quality and quick turnaround time. We are a “convenience store” type factory as we can work around the clock with a two-shift (day and night) system on weekdays and a rotating shift system on weekends to match the delivery requirements.

Using the above 5T production system, we meet all customers’ demands. The same working quality is provided at our joint company in China, Qingdao Nantejia Machinery Co., Ltd.

[Business description]
We produce parts for semiconductor production equipment, liquid-crystal production equipment, machine tools, and food production equipment. Our three specialties are composite metal working, special material working, and high-mix low-volume production. Established almost a century ago, we have been active in this industry as a “composite manufacturing company” handling a wide range of operations from construction work, can production, can welding, precision mechanical working, from assembly to installation. However, due to recent economic globalization and changes in the business environment, we have shifted our focus and management resources to parts working. The “fourth foundation” of business reform is currently in progress.

[Industry]
Manufacturing of parts

[Strength of products/technologies]
We are not a mass-production manufacturer. One of our specialties is extreme “high-mix low-volume” production, even single items. Our machine working division was originally established to produce repair parts for equipment maintenance, and a single lot rarely had more than 100 items; in fact, the number of items per lot normally ranged from a few to a few dozen. Mechanical working companies generally specialize in “round articles” using lathes or “square articles” using millers. We have many composite working machines as well as numerically controlled lathes and millers and general-purpose machines, which allows us to expertly produce “composite articles” with irregular shapes.

[Representative's message]
In a few years, we will be celebrating our 100th anniversary. Our corporate motto is from Darwin, a naturalist known for his theory of evolution, who said, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” I am the third of three generations that have managed this company, and a close look at the very different business activities during each generation gives the impression that we do not even come from the same family. We never stop changing and we are willing to change without hesitation in order to meet the demands of the market.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Inquiries are first handled by the production division manager in order to discuss technical matters with the caller. When the topic becomes very advanced, the executive factory director and executive manager join the division manager. We plan to expand our network in China by maximizing the benefit of having a local production site at our joint company there. We are presently gathering information by visiting Southeast Asian countries.

[Market share/Ranking]
We have supplied our products to major Japanese manufacturers of special material (graphite, ceramics, etc.) parts, ball screws, and food processing machines for over 15 years.
