[Company strength]
We have group companies in Tohoku, Kanto, and Kansai to provide the optimum production locations and methods for customers. We provide high-quality molds to industries that include automobiles, food, pharmaceuticals, aircraft, and glass products. In particular, our Gifu Factory has various blow molding technologies to meet customer needs for suction blowing, H&C, and multilayer forming. The Osaka Factory handles containers and provides multi-cavity molds for caps and preforms. The Sagamihara Factory also manufactures large machine parts by utilizing large portal processing machines and composite lathes. We have an integrated production system for various machines and glass molds from designing, machining, and assembly to maintenance.

[Business description]
Our company was established in 1947, not long after the war. Since then, we have focused on monozukuri (manufacturing), particularly of capital goods. We started by manufacturing molds for glass bottles. Our derivative products range widely from plastic blow molds (for beverages, medicine, automobiles, etc.) and plastic injection molds (for beverages, automobiles, etc.) to various glass molding machines. Our distributed factories in Kanto, Kansai, Chubu, and Tohoku are introducing unique technologies to the world through collaboration based on the motto of One FUSO.

[Representative's message]
Our four factories in Kanto, Kansai, Chubu, and Tohoku introduce unique technologies to the world through collaboration based on the motto of One FUSO. Japan is losing its relative position in the world due to the recent appreciation of the yen, declining birthrate, aging society, and growth of emerging countries. Even under such circumstances, a large number of our products are used outside Japan in various forms. Several choices are under consideration for the future. We will focus on Japan first and develop overseas strategies.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We will take every opportunity to participate in exhibitions and trade fairs held by administrative and financial organizations to actively develop sales channels in a wide range of fields as a group by utilizing the characteristics of four factories. We will exploit market needs, be aware of the market situations, and improve our corporate power. With unrivaled group power, we will actively reduce costs and lead time to become a stronger company for the next generation. We are also engaged in the difficult maintenance of molds made by other manufacturers.
