[Company strength]
Our strength lies in precision machining. We do not simply rely on expensive machining tools for accuracy. We plan how to use our in-house tools and jigs while thinking about the worker’s setup abilities and how the material should be processed to achieve the best conditions possible. Such ingenuity and analog skills are the foundation of our precision machining. This kind of analog skill is applicable even to irregular, complicated parts that require multiple settings, which allows us to maintain a high level of precision. We try to differentiate our company by combining the digital technology of the latest machining tools with our analog skills to deal with high-precision machining and difficult-to-cut materials. 

[Business description]
Our company manufactures and sells mainly tools, jigs, gauges, and die parts necessary for the automobile industry to mass-produce auto parts. Many of the orders we receive are for small-lot, single-unit production, which we accept from single pieces, on a built-to-order basis. The jigs, tools, and gauges that are our main products are shipped to automobile manufacturers, so we have had many transactions with major companies. We recently started to manufacture reference parts, which are referred to when measuring and comparing mass-produced parts. This is an indication that our technological strength is highly valued by our customers.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our company excels at machining high-hardness materials, such as hard metal alloys, which are difficult-to-machine materials, hardened steel, and ceramic/diamond sintered bodies. Hard metal alloys tend to be restricted in their shape because of their characteristics, but we can process them into various shapes. This is done by making use of the know-how on hard metal machining we have accumulated in our many years of operation since our establishment. We can also suggest effective uses of hard metal alloys, including partial brazing for sections that are subject to wear, and shrinkage fitting technology to make existing parts more wear-resistant. We are experts in hard metal alloy processing, so we can satisfy various processing needs from our customers. 

[Representative's message]
We believe that marketing and branding are all the more critical for small-town factories with restricted resources. This is why we try to communicate with potential customers, and participate in exhibitions as much as possible. These customer acquisition efforts are paying off, and the number of customers has almost doubled in the last two years. We plan to continuously improve our website, participate in exhibitions to capture new market needs, and enhance our technology accordingly. We will continue to focus on technological innovation and customer acquisition so that we can provide made-in-Japan, value-added parts to the world. 

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Inquiries from our website and active participation in exhibitions are quickly decided and responded to by the president as the point of contact for the domestic Japanese market. Regional sales promotion is conducted by our affiliate company, Tokyo Carbide Tool (our chairman Jiro Sakai doubles as their representative director). This is done from their sales offices located in Utsunomiya, Saitama, Yokohama, Hamamatsu, and Suzuka. We are currently gathering information about overseas markets, and looking for reliable partners mainly among Japanese trading firms. We have a sales partnership agreement with a local company in Malaysia.
