[Company strength]
When our company was founded 80 years ago, we manufactured internal combustion engines for ships and also repaired and manufactured mining equipment. We have also been involved in iron-related businesses such as the operation of foundries for cast iron, cast steel, etc., as well as businesses related to machine processing and chemical plant related manufacturing. We currently operate three main lines of business: machine processing for industrial machinery, manufacturing of shredders; and real estate business. Our “Lion Shredder” brand operates on a nationwide scale. We continuously strive to adapt to the changing times and the needs of society.

[Business description]
We can provide integrated manufacturing from design and development to manufacturing and delivery based on a proven track record since our founding in 1937. We quickly respond to customer needs and can process large- to small-sized machinery by using mechanical equipment. We can even deal with errors in the order of microns. Our biaxial “Lion Shredder” developed in-house is known as a pioneering product in the industry.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our shredders can obtain high torque with low horsepower and exhibit a strong shearing force and extraordinary fracture strength by decelerating two axes equipped with cutters that rotate inward. The power source of the shredder is an electric motor, and operation and maintenance are easy. The shredder hardly generates any noise, vibration or dust, and ensures a wide range of shredding. The shredders are indispensable to the recycling of resources.

We aim to become a long-established shredder manufacturer in Aichi Prefecture, the leader in Monozukuri craftsmanship, without simply pursuing the expansion of scale and sales. We have become widely recognized through exposure in the media, participation in exhibitions, etc. Now is the time to expand sales.

Our inverter-controlled “Lion Shredder EVO” is a groundbreaking model that delivers twice the power output as before while conserving energy. As an industry-first model, it also benefits from the Japan Inbound Tax Alert, so we receive numerous inquiries from home and abroad. We can respond to customers nationwide through our two bases: our headquarters in Nagoya and our Tokyo business office.

[Joint research and development]
We jointly developed the material for the blades used in our shredders with Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation. We have received high acclaim for this special material, which is tougher than the materials available from other manufacturers.
