[Company strength]
Our development department focuses on planning and manufacturing products with the perfect balance between design and function. We have an integrated production system that includes physical distribution (material procurement, processing, coating, packing, shipping). Our operations are based on self-imposed standards compliant with ISO 9001:2000 or higher quality, which have been announced throughout the company since 2004. (We have similarly operated self-imposed standards in regard to the environment.) Formulating the business continuity plan enables us to receive the BCP Special Credit Guarantee in an emergency. Our equipment includes 7 NC routers, 2 NC urethane cutters, 2 large UV printers, 8 auto sandblasters, 8 robot cutters, 8 turret punch presses, 8 cold presses, and other general-purpose machines.

[Business description]
We develop and manufacture wood construction materials in-house for delivery to major construction material manufacturers, shopfitting companies, business equipment manufacturers, house-building companies, etc. We sell exterior materials such as open verandas, wood decks, eaves, and window bars and machined parts by processing typified by adze finishing (wall materials, wooden floors, partitions, etc.) as interior materials making use of NC routers. We recently started machining fireproof base materials such as calcium silicate plates in consideration of interior finishing restrictions.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We have received high acclaim for our products, which are mainly wood products, and are expanding to other raw material fields as the “Kyowa Brand”. We can respond to sophisticated processing requirements; for example, we manufacture and sell expressive wall and floor materials that have textured surfaces created through the use of NC routers so as to enjoy light shades and shadows unlike two-dimensional interior materials. We also manufacture and sell a new category of products where the ceiling material is integrated with lighting; thus, we are able to provide new and unique proposals.

We intend to strengthen our sales capabilities through our product development and proposal powers, to differentiate ourselves from competitors in quality, functions, and services, and to be recognized as the No. 1 company in the industry. With our unique technology as the backdrop, we provide our customers with products that can enrich their customers’ lives.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We intend to create new markets through positive participation in exhibitions and business meetings to expand domestic sales. We are committed to on-site visits and constructing local networks through positive participation in exhibitions and business meetings in Japan and abroad in regard to overseas sales development, and have already started gathering information for expanding overseas. We have obtained advice from the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan, have assigned personnel fluent in English, and are in the process of creating an English company website. In October, three people including the president participated in an overseas sales development seminar as part of the SME University program.

We sell our original products to major construction material manufacturers. LIXIL Corporation (NC processing of entrance door insulated materials, 2002 to present), Takara Standard Co., Ltd. (bonding of super-insulated bathtubs, NC processing, 2007 to present), Toyota Motor Corporation (insulated material processing for Toyota Housing Corporation), 2008-2009).
