Mutsuiya Industrial Co., Ltd.
We add value to automobile interior parts by using thermoplastic compound materials.
We mold thermoplastic materials and produce automobile interior/exterior parts through an integrated system from development to manufacturing. Our strengths include material development, “molding simulation” technology that fully utilizes seat stamping-molding of thermoplastic compound materials, and extensive molding facilities. We developed the world’s lightest deck-side substrate material, contributing to improved fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions of automobiles. We have also developed an all-textile liner with air permeability, and a liner that absorbs noise from around 800 kHz to high frequencies. We received the Good Supplier Prize (Special Award for Technology Development) from Toyota Motor East Japan.
[Company strength] We remain ahead of the pack by taking full advantage of our molding simulation technology, extensive molding facilities and material development to maximize the seat stamping-molding of thermoplastic compound materials. We also contribute to improved fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions of automobiles by developing the world’s lightest deck-side substrate material. We pursue environment-friendly products by employing resource circulation and recycling technology, and by not using toxic substances. [Business description] We mold thermoplastic materials and produce automobile interior/exterior parts through an integrated system from development to manufacturing, and we deliver our products right on schedule. [Industry] Manufacturing of automobile parts [Strength of products/technologies] We have developed an all-textile liner with air permeability not possible with the conventional resin liner. We received high evaluation for the light weight and low noise of our products, which were accepted as parts for Toyota’s Celsior for the first time. We have also developed a liner that absorbs noise from around 800 kHz to high frequencies. The interior silence can be improved through the sound absorption and insulation functions of our parts. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] In 2014, we merged our Sales Department with the Development Department, and established the Technology Sales Department. By sharing business and development information, we can propose and develop products that better meet the customers’ needs.
