We are an electronic equipment manufacturer founded in 1983. We design semiconductor test board circuits. We also design, manufacture, and assemble substrate artwork, and create and debug test programs on a custom-made basis. We support mechanical design for equipment and units, as well as sequencer design, manufacturing, and assembly. We have a system to handle processing from design to manufacturing in an integrated manner. We offer solutions according to customer needs for electronic circuits and equipment, and link this to the expansion of our business. We have many domestic Japanese customers such as Sony, Sony Semiconductor, LAPIS Semiconductor, Daishinku, and Fujitsu Semiconductor.
[Company strength] We can accept one-stop orders for custom-made products from design to manufacturing, even from single pieces, according to the customer’s requests and specifications. We can also accept design-only orders, including circuit design, substrate artwork design, mechanical design, and sequencer design. We support orders for manufacturing based on drawings brought in by the customer, or orders for only a single step. Our engineers have direct dialog with the customer through meetings or E-mail, instead of communication via the sales staff, so misunderstandings between the customer and our company will not occur. This is how we can produce products that are completely in line with the customer’s desired specifications. [Business description] We design circuits for semiconductor test boards. We design, manufacture and assemble substrate artwork, create and debug test programs, and design electronic circuits, as well as manufacturing peripheral equipment. Our services are offered on a custom-made basis. We also offer mechanical design for related equipment and units, and design, manufacture and assemble sequencers, all on a custom-made basis. We have a lineup of original products that apply these technologies. They include large LED digital (radio wave) clocks, infrared bed-leaving sensors for nursing care, and electronic handicraft kits (mainly for railroad models). [Industry] Electronic equipment manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] We have advantages in prototype production and small-lot production. The customer can select steps that reduce the risk by making use of our trial manufacturing. These steps can involve customers first bringing in their own circuit design, and we deliver a universal substrate on which manual wiring is formed in according to the circuit design. The design of the substrate artwork and mass production only begin after the operation inspection and debugging are finished. We can provide careful support for substrate modifications even if additional circuits become necessary after the substrate is designed and manufactured. We have experience in using our technology to develop various kinds of equipment that are not related to semiconductors. Examples include a vegetable packaging machine and a machine for athletic attractions. [Representative's message] We design and manufacture semiconductor-related substrates, equipment, and units as our main business. However, we also focus on cultivating business categories other than semiconductors, and on the development and sale of our original products. Our goal is to be a diversified business enterprise. In 2013 we concluded a business tie-up agreement with SAN-AI Electronic Industries, headquartered in Tokyo. We regularly visit our partner company every other month in order to strengthen our cooperative relationship. We hope to develop new products and cultivate new markets by strengthening our cooperation. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] Until last year our president and the directors of each business unit (Kagoshima and Kumamoto) mainly cultivated new customers, without assigning dedicated sales staff. However, this year we employed dedicated sales staff in order to advance business cultivation in the field of equipment in industries other than semiconductors in Miyazaki. We will dispatch engineering staff with the sales staff in order to explain technical details if the customer wants more detailed technical discussions. The staff directly in charge will be sure to provide support for the customer, rather than through the sales staff. This is how we can obtain good communications with our customers.
