We are a precision parts maker established in 1969 with outstanding technical capabilities. We mainly process precision parts for machine tools, industrial machines, semiconductor manufacturing devices, aerospace/medical equipment, and cars, on the basis of processing techniques of micron-level cutting, grinding, polish machining by lathe, and simultaneous 4/5 axis processing. We have a proven track record of multi-kind, small-quantity production of rotary members, objects having complicated shapes, and fitting members, and have been expanding our business. We work with many companies including Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., Murata Manufacturing Company, Ltd., Panasonic Corporation, Tokai Rubber Industry, and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. We have a proven track record of joint R&D with Akita Prefectural University and Chubu University.
[Company strength] We have built an advanced production management system which enables us to estimate the number of processes and accurately manage costs by diverse analyses of in-house big data including facility operation information. We have improved production processes in order to improve the facility operation rate by 5% and reduce the production cost by 5-10%, and have built a multi-kind, small-quantity production system enabling high quality, low cost and short delivery period. Our Nano-Processing Laboratory develops ultra-precision processing techniques for articles with hard-to-process shapes and hard-to-cut materials such as high-strength and crustaceous ceramics, and also processes high-value-added products of ultraprecision forming dies for aspherical lens, micro-lens arrays, mirrors/covers with free curved surface shapes, etc. [Business description] Our main business is the processing of precision parts of machine tools, industrial machines, semiconductor manufacturing devices, aerospace/medical devices, cars, etc. on the basis of micron-level cutting, grinding and machining techniques by lathe/simultaneous 4/5-axis processing. We are particularly skilled at multi-kind, small-quantity production of rotary members, objects having complicated shapes, fitting members, etc. We set up Nanofabrication Laboratory in Kyodai Katsura Venture Plaza of SME Support, Japan in 2012, to improve our processing technology and monitor the rapidly-changing business environment. We developed micro/nano-level ultraprecision processing technology for aspherical surfaces and members of diverse shapes for optical part manufacturing related to IT and imaging. [Industry] Manufacture of precisely machined parts [Strength of products/technologies] Our strength related to the processing of precision parts of machine tools, industrial machines, etc. is that we have technology for integrated production from cutting to grinding/polishing, multi-axial complicated shape processing, rotary-shaft central high-accuracy cutting/grinding technology, and engagement grinding technology. Our ultraprecision processing offers nano-level precision for materials with hard-to-work shapes and hard-to-cut materials (superhard alloys, titanium alloys, ceramics made of silicon carbide, tungsten carbide, quartz glass, etc.). Our aspherical-shape glass lens forming dies achieve a surface roughness Ra of 1 nm, and form accuracy P-V of 0.1 μm; our free curved surface forming dies achieve Ra of 5 nm or less and P-V of 1 μm or less. [Representative's message] We are commercializing high-value-added ultraprecision part processing, regarding precision part processing including processing of machine tool parts as our core businesses, and strengthening our company structure to adapt to the changing business environment. We monitor both actual and latent needs for ultraprecision-processed parts, and are identifying customers. We actively exhibit our products at specialist exhibitions, and plan to exhibit at overseas exhibitions in order to win customers globally.
