Nakagawa Seisakusho

Specific expertise in the manufacture and repair of high-functional components made of special metals.

A metal product manufacturer established in 1963. We mainly manufacture screw-type carriage devices and also manufacture and repair high-functional components by means of welding and thermal spraying of special materials including Inconel®, Hastelloy® and Stellite®. Our clients include Hokuetsu Kishu Paper, Hokuriku Electric Power Company, Chuetsu Pulp & Paper, Komatsu Castex, Mitsubishi Chemical Engineering, and many other Japanese companies. Our products were also installed as part of the equipment built by a major chemical equipment manufacturer and exported to foreign countries. Over the years we have accrued superior technologies related to the manufacture and repair of abrasion-resistant components made of cemented carbide alloys and special metals. We have also expanded our business operations to continue meeting our customers’ needs.

Other presentation

[Company strength]
Since our foundation in 1962 we have accrued superior technologies related to the manufacture and repair of abrasion-resistant components made of cemented carbide alloys and special metals. Although our products are BTO (built to order) according to the customers’ specifications, we have an integrated system that covers all manufacturing processes from plate working (design, cutting, bending and welding) and machine assembly through to finishing work. We provide our young staff with in-house training to acquire multiple skills for welding, plate working and assembly. We have a challenging corporate culture that prioritizes efforts to master new technologies. Our manufacturing environment, which includes an enhanced product inspection system, noise-controlled factory, and automated welding facilities, allows us to fulfill any customer requirements.

[Business description]
Plate working and assembly (screw-type carriage devices) of industrial machinery; surface treatment services involving maintenance and repair to improve heat resistance, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and operating life (eco-friendly reuse) by means of welding and thermal spraying of special materials (Inconel®, Hastelloy®, Stellite®, high-chromium steel, titanium, etc.)

Metal products manufacturing

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our specialized equipment for arc welding, carbon-dioxide arc welding, TIG, MIG and PTA (plasma transferred arc) welding allows us to employ the most appropriate welding method to create optimally hardened and/or cladded special materials (e.g., aluminum, copper, titanium and stainless steel) with superior resistance to corrosion, heat and/or abrasion depending on the base materials. Our plate working service fabricates carrier devices, pressure containers and vacuum vessels. We are also capable of manufacturing both thin and thick metal sheets of uniform quality by applying our CMT (cold metal transfer) and soft plasma welding methods. Our thermal spraying factory, which can accommodate very large parts (up to six metric tons), is completely noise controlled and equipped with plasma, arc, gas and HVOF (high-velocity oxy-fuel) spraying machines to produce high-quality pocket-free membranes of high chromium alloys, cemented carbide alloys, ceramics and other materials.

[Representative's message]
Since we offer BTO products based on our customers’ specifications and each of our deliverables provides us with only one opportunity to earn a good evaluation from the customer, “our products are our sales representatives” is our sales philosophy. We therefore believe that continuous improvement of the technologies and facilities that our customers need will open up new sales channels. The base of our sales promotion is the referral and endorsement by our customers including major enterprises and public organizations for whom we provide our services.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We are fully committed to continuously improving our technologies and expertise in welding and thermal spraying to make the impossible possible. In addition, preparations are under way to offer consulting services and products that will also meet the demand from overseas customers. In some cases, we can deliver services and products in cooperation with trusted trading companies.

[Market share/Ranking]
We have the No. 1 market share in Toyama.
