[Company strength]
Our company has accumulated experience and achievements as a manufacturer of light sources. We can make the most of this advantage to design and develop light reception systems. These include CCD and CMOS cameras and photodiodes, as well as inspection, observation, and measuring devices, covering up to the image processing stage.

[Business description]
Our company is developing four lines of business by making use of optical technology integrated from the elements of light emission, light transmission, and light reception. In our machine vision business we develop and provide film, glass, TFT, semiconductor, and OLED light sources for flaw detection using sensor cameras. In our health care business we handle OEM components that are incorporated into inspection, observation, and detection devices in the life science and medical fields. In our agricultural business we offer light source products to help farm produce grow and remain fresh. In our industrial business we develop and provide measuring devices using confocal microscopes that are advantageous in precision metal inspection. We also provide 3D inspection and measuring devices using the light section method.

[Representative's message]
We have accumulated experience in manufacturing light sources for Japan's hi-tech materials inspection, and grown into a company that handles even inspection devices. We want to make use of our experience to help automate inspection processes at overseas manufacturing sites.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our company has been acquiring customers with no dedicated staff for sales. We will employ dedicated sales staff, starting from this fiscal year, to further extend our sales channels. Our company has many staff members who are proficient in foreign languages, and we frequently communicate with overseas customers. We are particularly active in doing business with customers in China, Taiwan, and Korea.

[Market share/Ranking]
We have a 30% share of the market for LED light sources for line sensor cameras, which ranks top in the industry (according to our survey)
In August 2015 we began mass production of line light sources featuring the world's highest intensity and uniformity.
