Our strong points are “quickness”, “quality” and “proposal capabilities.” Our customer repeat rate is 93.3%. We handle high-mix low-volume orders covering everything from prototyping to mass production.

- We promptly respond to all requests, from cost estimations to technical problems. Our support system is able to provide immediate delivery of products to our customers.
- Product quality is strictly controlled through our established standards for the inspection process and all other working processes; we have never received any complaints from our customers.
- We are able to reduce the costs of prototyping and mass production molding, and mitigate the financial burden of development efforts. We provide a proposal on these financial matters as early as at the design stage. We accept orders for custom-built products.


[Business description]
We provide the following services:
1. Precision sheet-metal processing, press mold processing
2. Manufacture of press molds, press working
3. Design, manufacture and sales of power distribution boards, display boards, special lighting devices and illuminating systems
4. Equipment work, maintenance and management of devices and equipment in Item 3
5. All operations and work incidental to the matters in Items 3 and 4
We also manufacture automotive parts, printer parts, medical equipment and various industrial parts.


[Industry]
Test sheet-metal processing, mold building and press working

[Strength of products/technologies]
[High-precision processing] We have particular expertise in processing light electric parts and other parts requiring a complex drawing compound, which other companies find very difficult or impossible to achieve. Accuracy is based on the type of processing. We maintain an accuracy of ±0.02 for punching work, ±0.05 for bending work and ±0.1 for welding.
[From prototyping to mass production] We manufacture metal molds only when we reach the stage of mass production. The optimum mold material is selected, while also considering cost reduction. Mass production is carried out at a low cost by using our own plant in Japan.


[Representative's message]
During the Edo period in Japanese history, Omi akindo or merchants from Omi (the present Shiga) were extremely successful due to their practice of “sanpo yoshi,” which means that what benefits you must also benefit your customers and society at large. This is a valuable philosophy that should be followed not only by merchants but also by manufacturers like us. We are firmly committed to providing overseas markets with parts and products that we manufacture with the spirit of sanpo yoshi.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our social responsibility lies in developing many industrial prototypes, delivering high-quality products to customers as soon as possible, and contributing to the creation of new products for the next generation. We are setting up a complete production system by implementing IT to speed up production activities, and placing personnel who can make full use of the newly introduced technology. We are also constructing an internal system to open up new sales channels for our own products. We established an “MU Art Factory Division” and employed all related part-timers as permanent employees. We plan to develop new sales channels for authentic made-in-Japan products that we can proudly sell to overseas customers.
