We are a precision part manufacturer established in 1969. Our company manufactures and sells precision small-sized speed reducers, precision machined parts, and precision gears mainly for OA equipment, optical equipment, medical equipment, automobiles, gas equipment, and semiconductor equipment. We are expanding our business in Japan and abroad. We have experience doing business in Japan with Aisin Seiki, Mikuni, Tamagawa Seiki, Canon, and Fujifilm. We have an extensive track record abroad through transactions with local companies of major Japanese companies. We have confidence in secondary processing for precision parts, such as lathing, gear hobbing, injection molding, and rolling. Our company, OHTSUKI SEIKO CO., LTD., established an overseas subsidiary in Taiwan in the late 1980's. Since then, we have established a total of 5 bases (including the above one in Taiwan) with our own capital: Taiwan, Malaysia, China (2 factories), and Thailand. We deliver precision cut parts (gears, worms, and shafts) to various countries in the world and these are highly rated by our customers. 
(Our company and development equipment) Proposal based on high-speed and high-precision NC lathes
(Development) Contribution based on high-speed and high-precision processing performed by second-generation NC hobbing machines 
At present, typical hobbing machines are equipped with a mechanical mechanism to completely synchronize the rotation of the workpiece shaft with that of the main shaft to Improve tooth form accuracy. However, a demerit of the mechanical mechanism is that the rotation rate of the main shaft is in a range of 1500 to 4500 rpm. The NC lathes developed by our company employ servomotors for each of the workpiece shaft and the main shaft. By cooperating with a famous servomotor manufacturer, we have developed a complete rotation synchronization system which enables a rotation rate of 10,000 rpm. The system drastically improves productivity and enables the delivery of high-quality products.     
(Development) Contribution to diversification (crowning tooth forms) by using third-generation NC hobbing machines  
With various functions performed by the NC hobbing machines developed by us, we have enabled crowning tooth form processing, which is effective for sound deadening and transmission efficiency improvement, by applying low-cost cutting, rather than cutting by a gear grinding machine. The crowning tooth form processing was evaluated by a famous manufacturer and adopted for the speed reducing gear of a robot dog sold by the manufacturer.      
(Development) Contribution to diversification (worm processing) by using fourth-generation NC hobbing machines  
Now we can perform worm processing with an HOB cutter which was developed after NC hobbing machines uniquely developed by us. Normally, worm cutting is mainly done by processing with a turning tool. However, now it can be done by processing with the rotating tool of a gear hobbing machine. It leads to expectations that processing time will drastically be shortened and product quality will be improved.

Our company has the capability to develop, design, and manufacture equipment while implementing state-of-the-art machine tools. We have achieved labor-saving production, unprecedented accuracy, complicated shapes, low cost, and high quality by altering marketed equipment in unique ways. We succeeded in developing and manufacturing a high-speed, high-accuracy CNC gear hobbing machine for our gear hobbing equipment. This is a globally uncommon all-NC machine, and it is highly appreciated in the industry (subsidized by Monozukuri support aid). We are actively promoting overseas production and have production sites in Taiwan (two factories), Malaysia, China (two factories), and Thailand. We are ready to provide the same products with the same quality from each site. We have already acquired ISO 9001 certification.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our company has advantages in the field of ultra-precision machined parts, ultra-precision small molded parts, and combined units. Recently we have been mainly promoting the development of micro-discharge pumps (mainly tube pumps). They are suitable for washing and liquid replacement because of their advantage that fluid does not flow directly to the mechanical section, but only within a tube. The discharge rate can also be set in a broad range because of the pump structure and by selecting the number of rotations (speed reduction ratio) and motor. We also produce precision gears (metal and resin) specialized for small modules.

Our company is proactive about overseas production. We started overseas production early on by taking the opportunity of the overseas advance of a major company. We advanced into Taiwan in 1987, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) in 1992, China (Chang’an) in 1998, China (Suzhou) in 2003, and Thailand in 2008. These factories are currently in operation. Japanese staff familiar with our product machining technologies are assigned to these sites as managers. Our company system enables information provision and cost quotations even in local direct transactions.
