Icross Co., Ltd.
We manufacture and sell solid-fuel boilers that have superior features in terms of environmental conservation and fuel costs.
We manufacture biomass boiler combustion furnaces based on a patented combustion theory known as the centrifugal separation and space division method. Our combustion furnaces are highly environmentally friendly. This is because dioxins and the like are thermally decomposed with high efficiency by maintaining the combustion temperature at 1,100 °C or higher just by spontaneous fuel combustion. We employ a furnace wall protection system using water-cooling and air-cooling methods without having to use fireproof material in the combustion chamber. Fuel consumption can be reduced because ignition can be freely started and stopped as required. Fireproof material is not used, so it also becomes possible to reduce the weight and size. Our company has the number-three position in the small-sized biomass boiler industry.
[Company strength] We manufacture biomass boiler combustion furnaces based on a patented combustion theory known as the centrifugal separation and space division method. Our biggest advantage is that we possess combustion technology that is far ahead of our competitors. This combustion theory means that our combustion furnaces can also contribute to environmental conservation. This is because harmful gases such as dioxins are thermally decomposed with higher efficiency by keeping the combustion temperature at 1,100 °C or above just by spontaneous combustion of fuel. [Business description] We develop, design, manufacture, and sell biomass boilers for warm water, steam, and so on. Our products make use of woody biomass fuel and solid fuel such as RPF made from waste, and take the environment into consideration. Our company manufactures boilers that are smaller than conventional solid-fuel boilers, and we are developing our business with warm-water boilers, steam boilers, and heaters. Our other businesses include leasing linens to medical facilities, nursing home management, and interior finishing work. [Industry] General equipment and machinery manufacturing; services associated with medical treatment; nursing business; interior finishing work [Strength of products/technologies] We make use of a furnace wall protection system using water-cooling and air-cooling methods without having to use fireproof material in the combustion chamber. Conventional solid-fuel boilers are weak with respect to temperature variations because fireproof materials are used. It becomes necessary to keep the fuel burning all times except for maintenance periods to protect the fireproof materials, which results in wasteful burning of fuel. Our products do not use fireproof materials, so fuel consumption can be reduced because ignition can be freely started and stopped as required. Fireproof materials are not used, so we also successfully achieved weight reduction, downsizing, and a reasonable price for the main boiler body. [Representative's message] We hope to convey our boiler technology to developing countries in Africa and spread electric power generating systems that make use of our company’s boilers. Our goal in this is to support improvement in people’s way of life. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] Our sales engineers have experience working in major companies and high expertise in technology, and they will support customers as the point of contact. We hope to expand sales to domestic and overseas factories of Japanese manufacturers by offering cost-cutting and CO2 reduction with our original solid fuel boilers. [Market share/Ranking] We currently have the number-three position in the small biomass boiler industry. [Awards and media coverage] [Awards] [Media] Ryutsu Keizai Shimbun (October 28, 2013). [Authorization/Certification] Monozukuri New Selection in Kansai 2015 selection by the Kansai Bureau of Economy and Industry. [Joint research and development] We possess one registered patent and one utility model registration. [Main Clients / Business History (domestic)] We supplied four sets of 1.3-ton steam boilers to Komatsu’s Awazu Plant. They are now in operation in an electric power generating system incorporating a KOBELCO generator.
