We have commercialized a high-speed tool servo and robots for experiments by applying technology from Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).

We mainly develop, manufacture, and sell FTS high-speed tool servos, using a technology licensed from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. We also design, manufacture, and sell small machine tools and robots for experimental research, various other kinds of experimental machines and prototype machines, and so on. Our FTS high-speed tool servos make it possible to process shapes that could not be processed by conventional processing machines. This is achieved by attaching the servo to the bit holder of a super-precision processing machine, and providing ultra-precision high-speed positioning of the tool blade tip. Our FTS products are used for nanoimprinting metallic molding of seats for liquid crystal panels.

[Company strength]
We respond to customer requests to make unique products. We support customers even from the stage when they do not have concept sketches. We currently design and manufacture various kinds of experimental machines and prototype machines for universities, research institutes and R&D divisions of enterprises. We create concept drawings and conduct design based on discussions with the customer. Part processing is carried out at our cooperating factory, assembly and adjustment are handled in our company, and then we deliver the product to the customer. We have advantages with super-precision machines, and machines that move by human power.

Precision machine manufacturing

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our main products are FTS high-speed tool servos, which we developed under a technology license from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. The tool blade tip mounted on the top is driven by a piezo device. This equipment enables super-precision high-speed positioning with a stroke of 10 μm, resolution of 10 nm, and 4 kHz response speed. This is done by making use of feedback control from a static capacitance displacement meter. These products are utilized for nanoimprint metal molding of seats for liquid crystal panels.

Our company designs and manufactures machines according to customer requests. We think it is important to always ascertain the customer’s exact needs, in addition to possessing technology power. This is why we introduced blade tip position control using our FTS products for metallic molding of smartphone lenses. We succeeded in manufacturing aspherical and axially asymmetrical lenses. We strongly believe that it is necessary to enhance awareness of our company’s technology power in the future, so we plan to participate in various exhibitions.

We usually operate our company with three staff members, except for extremely busy seasons when we employ 15 people including part-time staff. We are a small company, but we assign one staff member to continuous sales operations. We have arranged a system to support our current customers and to acquire new customers.
