Totsuka Kinzoku Kougyou Co., Lts.

We are a metalworking manufacturer with an extensive track record with aircraft sheet parts.

Our company is a metalworking manufacturer established in 1962. We have satisfied various customer needs and expanded our business by making use of our extensive technologies in the precision sheet metal working, press working, welding, coating, and assembly fields. Our main products are aircraft seat parts and OA equipment housings. We also focus on independently developed products. This has resulted in our development of an original knock-down booth kitchen that requires no fastening, using no screws, bolts, or nuts. It received the METI Minister’s Award at the Japan Tsubame Industrial Design Contest in 2014. We are promoting this product to participants at events, shops, trade fairs, emergency food distribution sites, and food stands at festivals.

[Company strength]
Our customers need us to manufacture high-quality products in a short time, at low cost. We have introduced the latest equipment and created a highly valued manufacturing practice to satisfy these needs. The engineers who use this equipment are also given sufficient training. We have a sound quality control system in place, and all our products are managed under an original system from order receiption to shipping. We will continue to apply our extensive manufacturing technologies to various materials and products to make products according to various customer needs.

Aircraft seat part, OA equipment housing, and other product manufacturing

[Strength of products/technologies]
We developed and launched a knock-down booth kitchen that does not use any fasteners (such as bolts, screws, and nuts) for assembly. It has two sinks, and a 20-liter plastic container for supplying water through air pressure. Both sides of the booth have four adjustable shelves. Its main features are portability, because the wooden counter houses all the components, and ease of assembly and removal. It takes only 20 minutes to assemble, and 15 minutes to dismantle and tidy up, even with only one person. Dimensions are W900 × D360 × H1065 before assembly, and W2170 × D1090 × H1710 after assembly, for a twelve-fold expansion in volume. This product is intended for use by participants at events and exhibitions, shops, trade fairs, emergency food distribution sites, festival food stands, and outdoor events held by hotels and restaurants.

[Representative's message]
Our company has been dedicated to metalworking on consignment from other companies, but we applied our extensive metalworking know-how to develop an original knock-down booth kitchen. This product has already become popular at exhibitions and is highly appreciated, as indicated by our receipt of an award from the METI Minister in 2014. This product is intended for use at recreation sites such as events and festivals, and as a lifeline product for food distribution sites after major disasters. We hope that our products will be used by many customers in Japan and overseas.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We try to actively participate in domestic Japanese and overseas exhibitions to enhance recognition of our products. We are currently looking for reputable customers and hope to establish a sales framework, such as by partnering with sales agencies. (We are also trying to find sales agencies.)

[Market share/Ranking]
We are currently cultivating the market.
