Digital Meister Co., Ltd.

We provide solutions using wearable information devices.

Our business growth is centered on three domains: we are a solutions provider for contracted development, mobile solutions, and e-learning. We excel in developing embedded software for device control, signal processing, numerical analysis, and other functions that we have accumulated through joint industry-government-university R&D projects. We are currently engaged in joint R&D with Yamaguchi University and other partners. Our goal is to adapt applications running on portable information devices to the healthcare field and to provide solutions using wearable information devices.

[Company strength]
We excel at developing embedded software for device control, signal processing, numerical analysis, and other functions that we have accumulated through joint industry-government-university R&D projects. Recent projects include the development of an application that applies signal processing to electrocardiogram waveform data received via Bluetooth and displays the results on a smartphone screen. Another is the development of embedded software for wearable information devices. We plan to invest more energy into developing software for wearable information devices and provide these devices as medical equipment products.

[Business description]
Our company sells computers and peripherals, and plans, develops, and sells computer systems and software packages. We provide surveys, research, and consulting on information technology as well as hosting seminars and operating computer technology classes. We offer Internet website planning, design, and production, as well as planning, development, and sales of systems using mobile phones and peripheral devices. We handle planning, production, and sales of computer training materials, as well as information processing services and information provision services.

[Industry]
Software development

[Strength of products/technologies]
We worked with the Yamaguchi Prefectural Industrial Technology Institute and other partners in R&D for a stress check solution. This solution measures stress levels with a wearable device and displays the results with an analytic smartphone app that makes use of our proprietary algorithm (Japanese Patent Publication No. 2010-234000). This solution can accurately gauge stress conditions in a shorter time than other current products. Our company develops smartphone apps that handle multiple devices with a single source code, so we excel in developing apps for multiple devices in short timeframes.

[Representative's message]
We aim to expand our business using the outcomes of joint R&D projects with universities and public institutions. These are conducted through commissioned research from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. We are currently creating prototypes from these outcomes and working toward turning them into products and commercializing them. We are looking for partners we can collaborate with to develop our business and expand sales.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We appointed a Tokyo sales representative in February 2015 and have built a system to expand sales, and primarily medical equipment and healthcare-related products. We particularly hope to supply and sell the medical equipment and healthcare-related products we develop to medical equipment manufacturers. This can be done either on an OEM basis or as components.
