We conduct integrated production of precision resistance alloy wires, thermoelectric wires, and compensating lead wires.
We have been producing products such as temperature sensors, compensating lead wires, and electrodes for secondary cells for about 100 years. We can satisfy various needs by taking advantage of our capabilities in integrated production covering from raw material dissolution to metallic mold design through manufacturing and final products. Our surface treatment division handles Ni continuous electric plating processing of wide articles up to 400 mm. Various kinds of insulation sheathing processing and continuous electric plating processing are our characteristic technologies. We can deal with superconducting wire insulation sheathing processing, which is used for MRIs and so on, and continuous electric Cr plating processing of nuclear fusion reactor superconducting wires. We are also expanding our business to new fields such as biomaterials. We independently developed the Cur@Cutter saw for medical treatment by applying our Co-Cr group alloy wire processing method, and it has been patented in Japan and abroad.
[Company strength] We have been working to achieve Monozukuri craftsmanship with dreams since our foundation in 1916, and taking on the challenge of new fields based on our technologies. Cur@Cutter received the Ota Ward Welfare and Medical Prize in the 26th New Products & New Technology Contest of Ota Ward, Tokyo. This includes parts for maglev trains, magnetic resonance equipment and tomographic imaging equipment, nuclear fusion reactor parts, and the Cur@Cutter saw for medical treatment. [Industry] Electrical equipment (precision resistance alloy wires, thermoelectric wires, compensating lead wires, and so on) [Strength of products/technologies] We conduct integrated in-house production of various precision resistance materials, thermoelectric couplers, and compensating lead wires, from raw material dissolution to final product manufacturing. We can satisfy various customer needs with our extensive product lineup and processing methods. This includes ultra-thin wires, stranded wires, Teflon, vinyl, glass sheathing cable processing, and baking processing for various insulating coatings. Our surface treatment division handles Ni continuous electric plating processing of a wide range of articles up to 400 mm. We process superconducting wire insulation sheathing, which is used for MRI and NMR, and continuous electric Cr plating for superconducting wires for the ITER Project nuclear fusion reactor. This is based on our various kinds of insulation sheathing processing and continuous electric plating processing as our characteristic technology. We commercialized the Cur@Cutter saw for medical treatment, which has a three-dimensional structure using Co-Cr group alloy wire with excellent mechanical characteristics. We also developed the MgAlB2 superconducting liquid level measuring equipment, which measures the liquid-hydrogen storage capacity necessary for the hydrogen-based society of the future. We hope to realize Monozukuri craftsmanship with dreams by achieving new market cultivation and overseas expansion in cooperation with customers for these new products. We have English-speaking staff and Chinese-speaking staff in our planning office for overseas business, and the planning office in our factory supports domestic Japanese business. This will be done by creating synergistic effects between our strengths including R&D, high-quality results, cost support, quick deliveries, and the originality and creativity of our staff. We have arranged an integrated in-house production system covering from raw material dissolution to coarse processing, cable stranding, and extrusion. We satisfy various needs such as thermoelectric couplers, compensation lead wires, and electric resistance alloys. We are also taking on the challenge of new fields (superconducting wire, precision resistance thin wire, multifilament wire, and so on).
