[Company strength]
We develop, design, manufacture, and sell water treatment equipment. Our technological strength has already been proven. This is illustrated by our receipt of the Award of Excellence at the 2013 SME's Excellent New Technology/Product Award competition (only 10 companies received awards out of hundreds of applicants). We have also been frequently selected for national projects operated by the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, JICA, and so on. Our innovative technology development capability has allowed us to establish the world's first on-site automatic regeneration technology for used activated carbon, without even taking the carbon out of the tank. (On-site activated carbon regeneration was previously impossible.)

We develop, design, manufacture, sell, and engineer wastewater treatment systems and other environmental equipment, and provide environmental technology consulting.

[Strength of products/technologies]
The activated carbon regeneration technology that we developed can make a financial contribution by significantly reducing the cost of water treatment for public and private institutions. Our equipment also reduces the energy used for manufacturing new activated carbon, so it can be seen as an excellent product that brings about a dual waste reduction effect. It helps reduce energy consumption, waste, and carbon dioxide emissions, which have been longstanding issues for a great many companies. 

[Representative's message]
Our motto is to “make usable water from wastewater.” I hope to build a water circulation type recycling system by reusing wastewater with our water recycling devices. We will promote our water regeneration business in areas where water resources are limited or water infrastructure is lacking. 

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We established a coordinated sales scheme with our sales agencies (three domestic Japanese and two overseas companies), and we make suggestions regarding issues and problems while closely communicating with customers. We also provide development solutions. Our product was adopted in a JICA project in Indonesia (a project for promoting Japan's good products). We intend to further cultivate the Asian market to increase sales. 

[Market share/Ranking]
Activated carbon is used in many industries worldwide for water and gas treatment. A recycling technology for used activated carbon was needed as the carbon was disposed of after use. The market is huge and it is impossible to derive a figure.
