[Company strength]
Our basic policy is to transform into an independent company through improvement by everyone. Our company is converting to being an Asian enterprise through a number of initiatives. We will improve satisfaction for end users, employees, and customer companies through management quality enhancement activities. We are targeting ten-fold quality improvement by establishing a shared education system and original automation systems. We are also establishing cooperative production and mutual procurement and supply systems with the Fusan Plant in Guangdong Province, China. We have established a business model both in Japan and our China plant. This involves conducting all processes including material procurement, molding, thermal treatment, machining, surface treatment, and subassembly under an integrated production and supply system by working with 30 partner manufacturers. 



[Business description]
Our company has been manufacturing and selling actuator parts (motors, solenoids, clutches, brakes, and other components that constitute a driving mechanism) since our establishment in 1963. Our basic management philosophy is to help create an affluent, Earth-friendly society by pursuing better harmony between technology and people, and also by creating valuable products. We manufacture functional parts (such as fuel injectors, fuel pumps, EGR valves, and OCV linear solenoids) for automobile fuel systems. We also offer linear solenoids and three-way valves for automatic transmission cars (including hybrid cars). Our other products include car air conditioner compressor parts, Thorsen gear parts, and other parts (mainly fuel-enhancing parts, and exhaust gas reducing parts).

[Strength of products/technologies]
Emerging Asian countries such as China are experiencing rising labor costs (10 to 20% annually), and are faced with an urgent need to introduce labor-saving equipment. We decided to develop retro-fitted gantry robots for export as a labor-saving measure for standalone processing machines in Chinese plants. Many manufacturers develop multi-axis robots, but retro-fitted gantry robot system manufacturers are globally rare, and very few operate in Asia, where the market is about to grow. Our technology advantage is considerably high, and can be regarded as one of our technological strengths.

The automobile industry is required to develop measures for reducing its environmental footprint to prevent global warming in the context of the worsening global environment. These measures include enhancing fuel efficiency and reducing exhaust gas to reduce CO2 emissions. Our long-term commitment to transportation machinery dating back to our establishment remains unchanged, but we will try to improve technologies and production controls for the betterment of the environment. We aim to become a global company that helps revitalize the local community.

Our company will participate in exhibitions and business conferences held by public organizations and financial institutions to acquire potential customers, while aggressively cultivating Asian markets from our Chinese plant. We will also improve our internal technological strength and production capacity, and enhance individual employee skills by proactively providing support programs, so as to reinforce our corporate power.

Our past sales records suggest that our share of the actuator-related market has reached a certain level. (We supply more than 80% of the core linear solenoid parts for a major automobile manufacturer’s Multimatic transmission product.)
