[Company strength]
We develop, design, and manufacture a great variety of products covering a wide range of applications. These include semiconductor and LCD panel manufacturing equipment and other precision machines as well as train and rolling stock rigging, powder processing machines, and equipment and machinery such as slitters. We also produce various factory automation (FA) machines and ATMs. We design and develop products by making the most of 3D CAD and over forty CAD systems. We make use of our accumulated machine development, design, and manufacturing know-how for our product development. Our vibration-proof, shock-absorbing materials are used to absorb vibration and sound under the floors of JR 700 Series Shinkansen bullet trains (Nozomi and Rail Star). Our advantage is that we can provide unique products differentiated from the products of other companies.

[Business description]
Our company is engaged in two lines of business. (1) We have been engaged in the machine design business for 43 years since our establishment. (2) We also do business related to vibration-proof, shock-absorbing, and seismic fixing materials under our in-house brand NonBuren, which we independently developed about 20 years ago. We develop semiconductor manufacturing equipment and LCD panel manufacturing equipment in our machine design business, mainly for the field of precision machines. This business accounts for 50 to 60% of our sales. In our NonBuren-related business our engineers discuss the content of all inquiries made through our website with engineers from the user’s company to provide optimal products after trial manufacturing. We manufacture and sell even single pieces. We do business with 200 to 300 companies every year.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our company developed NonBuren vibration-proof, shock-absorbing material. This in-house product has a loss factor as small as about 0.5, and its performance is about three to four times greater compared with conventional synthetic rubber. We receive about 700 to 800 requests and inquiries about problem solutions through our website every year. In each case our engineers discuss a solution utilizing NonBuren with the user, conduct experiments, and verify the effects with data. We currently have about 1,000 pieces of data accumulated as know-how. We combine the know-how we have obtained from machine design to develop and manufacture optimal vibration-proof materials and shock-absorbing materials as requested by users.

[Representative's message]
Our company has been conducting integrated machine design since our establishment. Our polyurethane-related products are manufactured based on our achievements about quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) together with consideration unique to our company. We think our products will be acceptable outside Japan as well. We will proactively exhibit our products at overseas exhibitions as part of our market research in fields for our new products. We are also considering establishing overseas sales sites in the future.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We select a leader at the section manager level when we receive an inquiry from a major manufacturer, and select expert staff from respective sections to form a project team. We have employed experienced English-speaking staff for the general affairs department to establish a system capable of answering inquiries for overseas business.
