[Company strength]
Our company is small in scale, but we have units for engineering sales, design, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance. We provide products in an integrated manner from the creation of ideas when we receive the order to manufacturing and product quality assurance. We also possess all machine tools to manufacture products. We can manufacture, assemble, and adjust all parts using only in-house technology without having to depend on outside resources. We will soon celebrate our 70th anniversary, and we have been receiving customer trust for our quality for a long time.

[Business description]
We mainly manufacture tools used to confirm that mass products made for the fields of automobiles, aerospace, electronic components, and home electronics appliances satisfy the mechanical precision specified drawings. These include test jigs, gauges, standards, and masters. We also manufacture aids such as jigs and tools that are used for installation on machine tools at the time of parts manufacturing. We design and manufacture custom-made products (individually designed products) according to customer needs. Tools manufactured by our company are often used for parts manufactured by grinding, machining, and precision pressing methods.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We can perform in-house single-piece processing in 1-μm (= 0.001 mm) units by compounding grinding, EDM, and machining. We can supply products with overall error at the level of 5 to 10 μm in the field of assembly-type general test jigs using multiple parts.

We have been doing business with only a limited number of customers since our foundation up to the present time. Our market cultivation thus far has been word-of-mouth communication. It has now become necessary to cultivate new markets. This is due to the acceleration of Japanese Monozukuri craftsmanship expanding overseas, advancing local procurement of various materials, and the fact that needs may decrease in future. We are based on the technology of engineers with lifetime employment. We are a company that genuinely embodies “Made in Japan.” We can deal with the comprehensive precision processing in 1-μ units. We hope to aggressively develop markets, and to keep Monozukuri craftsmanship in Japan from now on.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our sales department handles custom-made precision processing products, and they always understand our in-house equipment, our capabilities, and the skill of our engineers. They also have the capability to devise a manufacturing process without simply stopping at the quotation. This is how they can conduct in-depth technical meetings during market cultivation. About one-quarter of all our employees belong to the business division. They can do everything possible to cultivate markets.

This industry is small, so statistical data do not exist. The scale of the Japanese market is said to be about 30 to 40 billion yen per year (cited from Mitsutoyo material). We think that we are one of the major companies in this industry because it is rare to find large-scale enterprises in this industry.
