We supply precision injection molding parts that are used by top-ranking companies in various fields.
Our lines of business include precision plastic injection molding manufacturing and resin molding die design. These articles are attached to final products manufactured by automobile manufacturers, electronic device manufacturers, and sanitary manufacturers. We supply 3.5 million units every month with a focus on unattended production. We have created highly productive dies and optimal molding methods based on our many years of experience by working with product designers from the concept phase. Our strong points include precision accuracy (±10 microns) and quick delivery, which we have developed while working with top-class companies in various industries.
[Company strength] We are able to create optimal dies and moldings and achieve high productivity by working with product designers from the concept phase. This is based on many years of experience with failures, analysis, and countermeasures. Our advanced die development capabilities enable us to make suggestions and collaborate with product development engineers even in the planning stages. We have long-term partnerships with leading manufacturers, so we can supply products in a short time, with high machining accuracy of ±10 microns. [Business description] Our lines of business include precision plastic injection molding manufacturing and resin molding die design. We supply 3.5 million pieces every month with a focus on unattended production. These articles are supplied to finished product manufacturers mostly in the fields of automobiles (Toyota Motor, Mazda Motor), electronic devices (Fuji Xerox, Hitachi Metals), and consumer products. [Industry] Plastic product manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] We have successfully developed and productized many special moldings, including elastomer moldings, two-material moldings, and 0.01-g micro molding parts. Other examples include precision molded micro gears of around 0.005 g, which are used in ink cartridges and surveillance cameras. An overseas manufacturer had determined these products to be impossible. We also handle mass production and knockdown delivery of irregular-thickness filters (0.16 mm at the thinnest part) that are subject to severe flatness requirements. These products are used in the world’s smallest iris for surveillance cameras. [Representative's message] We actively participate in exhibitions and business matching events to demonstrate our extensive injection molding die technologies, and to increase sales of our advanced mass-produced moldings. This has led to an increasing number of inquiries regarding micro fabrication technology, which is our selling point. We hope to begin our overseas expansion efforts by forming partnerships with local companies, if we have the chance. We will continue to develop new manufacturing methods and dies, and try to participate in both domestic Japanese and overseas exhibitions. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We are aware that working with major companies and overseas expansion initiatives require more staffing in the QA and technology departments, in addition to other issues we are currently addressing. Our company has worked with Nidec Sankyo, Fujitsu Component, and Hitachi Metals for many years, so we believe that our current domestic Japanese framework is almost sufficient. We are still undecided about overseas expansion because of the recent depreciation of the yen, but we will continue to explore the possibilities in case it becomes necessary. [Market share/Ranking] (1) 5% (2) 10% (3) 24% (Out of 15 million units manufactured by domestic Japanese manufacturers, our parts are used in 3.6 million units.) (4) 2% (5) 12% (Out of 3 million units manufactured by domestic Japanese manufacturers, our parts are used in 360,000 units.) [Awards and media coverage] [Awards] [Media] [Main Clients / Business History (domestic)] Nidec Sankyo (toilet seats and oil damper parts for toilet lids, direct transactions since 2003); Hitachi Metals (antenna mechanism parts, direct transactions since 2010); Fujitsu Component (high-precision gears for thermal printers, direct transactions since 2005); Keihin (gear box parts for in-vehicle air conditioner control units, indirect transactions since 2010).
