Our main businesses are ink manufacturing for offset printing, hardware and software development and sales for computer color matching, and printing material sales. Our Choshoku Meijin dispensing system is based on our unique technology of seven-channel simultaneous dispensing and measurement. We design and manufacture customer-requested functional dispensing films from phenol and alkyd resins and various vegetable oils. Our company has extensive expertise about technology for high-precision dispersing of powdery substances in highly viscous matter. Our color matching systems have a 30% share of the market in Japan.

Our company possesses unique technologies for computer color matching and for dispensing, measuring, and controlling inks and high-viscosity matter similar to inks. We possess many patents for our technologies. We are also diverting our ink manufacturing and development technologies to conduct joint research on electroconductive inks with Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute and Yamagata University. Our company owns a factory in Shandong Province, China.

The offset printing market in Japan is shrinking, so we will strengthen our sales in overseas markets, mainly in Southeast Asia, Pakistan, and Mexico.

[In-house System for Market Cultivation and Overseas Expansion]
We export products mainly from our Chinese factory. We will have English and Chinese-speaking staff at Taniguchi Ink (Yantai) Co., Ltd. from August this year. Our engineering staff includes a researcher with a Ph.D. Our staff can provide technical consultation and also possess sufficient capabilities to deal with overseas people in English. Our U.S. subsidiary has Taiwanese-American and Mexican-American full-time staff who can support customers in Chinese, Spanish, and English. They can respond to product inquiries from South America and Central America and make technical descriptions.
