[Company strength]
Oriental medicine has a systematic set of rich heuristics and a long history of development, and is a widely used treatment. We conduct R&D of hyperthermia treatment (moxibustion) and low-frequency treatment (acupuncture) as oriental medicines in order to simplify and standardize acupuncture and moxibustion treatment which has been used in Japan for centuries. Our strength is integrated operation of all processes from product development to design, certification, mass production, publicity and sale, allowing us to provide customers with unique products that satisfy their demands.

[Business description]
Since our foundation in 1987, we have conducted research on products centering on oriental medicine, and particularly acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, and the development, manufacture and sale of acupuncture electrode low-frequency treatment equipment and electric moxibustion equipment under the motto “manufacture of products that make customers feel safe and secure.” Although we are a small business with 10 employees, we conduct a whole range of operations ranging from user surveys to development, certification of medical equipment, mass-production, and sale. Based on our experience of selling for over 30 years, we provide medical equipment compatible with various applicable standards based on our experience of developing products in line with the concept “presymptomatic disease” fostered in oriental medicine.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Acupuncture and moxibustion are oriental medicine treatments that have been uniquely developed in Japan. However, some people feel reluctant to use moxibustion because of fire, smoke, and heat, while others believe that acupuncture hurts. We have technology that makes treated patients perceive with the five senses that heat and pain are comfortable. Hyperthermia treatment (moxibustion) and low-frequency treatment (acupuncture) help people accept this type of treatment. We provide products that make people appreciate the wonder of oriental medicine. Our products are chosen by many therapeutists. In product development, we thoroughly visualize the development process with documentation and create prototypes that are very close to a mass-produced product by using a 3D printer which we introduced in 2012.

[Representative's message]
We develop products with the aim of enabling as many people as possible to appreciate the wonder of oriental medicine and lead healthy lives. Recently, we develop and sell one new oriental medicine product every three years based on our own design. For acupuncture electrode low-frequency treatment equipment, we recently commercialized a new product that complies with the new certification standard as well as the ISO criteria currently under development. We will continue to improve our planning and development capabilities and expand our business to contribute to the health and cosmetics industry.

Although we have no special in-house system because of our size, the representative director serves as the contact point. While we have a market share of 97.5%, we intend to expand overseas and globalize acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, which are types of oriental medicine unique to Japan.

Our domestic market share of acupuncture electrode low-frequency treatment equipment is 97.5% (according to the 2013 Pharmaceutical Industry Current Production Statistics Survey).
