Mimasu Kougyou Co., Ltd.
Precision machining of critical safety parts of aerospace instruments
Our main operations include precision machining of critical safety parts of aerospace instruments, rapid transit railway vehicles, electric power generation equipment, etc. We handle diverse processes including vacuum heat treatment, nondestructive testing, and assembly and maintenance of units by integrated production all in-house. We are skilled at precision processing of complicated shapes of difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel. We are skilled at multi-kind, small-quantity and intermittent production thanks to our adaptability and flexibility. Our processing is used in cutting-edge industries requiring excellent safety and reliability, and therefore we have obtained various certifications and accreditations and maintain sophisticated processing techniques and strict quality control. Our principle is “challenging Monozukuri (manufacturing) without compromise”.
Sales Pitch
- Realizing the integrated processing of ultra-precision machined parts that require safety and reliability
-
By using state-of-the-art facilities, our company conducts a wide range of processes in-house, from precision machining to vacuum heat treatment, nondestructive inspection, and assembly/maintenance in clean rooms. Furthermore, through our own supply chain management, we offer integrated production solutions, including carburizing heat treatment, beam welding, surface treatment, and coating.
Precision machining: Skilled workers with national certifications make the most of approximately 50 machining tools, such as state-of-the-art 3D CAD/CAM, simultaneous 5-axis machining center, and combined machining tools to meet the requirements of highly advanced machining. Vacuum heat treatment: We provide AMS-compatible vacuum heat treatment that is accredited by major companies such as Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Subaru, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Nondestructive inspection: Magnetic flaw inspection is available, which complies with ASTM E 1444 standard and is Nadcap-certified. Supply chain management: We can offer a one-stop order service through a supply chain which we have built with certified vendors in specialized fields, such as welding, and surface treatment.
We can meet the needs of the critical safety-related parts market, such as aerospace equipment, defense equipment, high-speed railway vehicles, marine equipment, and power generation equipment, which requires exceptionally advanced quality assurance capabilities.
Other presentation
[Company strength] We have followed our philosophy of “challenging Monozukuri (manufacturing) without compromise” since our establishment in 1966. Under this philosophy, we have steadily improved our techniques and skills by introducing the latest facilities and a human resource training program, thus meeting the changing needs. We are highly evaluated, particularly for the precision processing of parts having complicated shapes and made of difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel. We will continue to improve our techniques to gain customers’ deep trust. We perform management and operation in compliance with international industrial standards such as AMS and ASTEM for special process facilities. We have been approved by various major aircraft manufacturers and accessories manufacturers. [Business description] We perform machining and vacuum heat treatment of precision parts in the aerospace industry, the rapid transit railway vehicle industry, the electric power generation equipment industry, the industrial equipment industry, etc., and assembly and maintenance for units. We have machine tools such as a five-axis machining center and a composite machine, and leading-edge processing technology by 3D-CAD/CAM. We handle diverse operations including vacuum heat treatment, nondestructive testing, clean-room assembly, and maintenance by in-house processing. We also provide integrated processing including carburizing heat treatment, beam welding and surface treatment by original SCM development. [Industry] Precision machining [Strength of products/technologies] (1) Precision machining: Technicians having national skills certification handle requests for difficult machining, by using nearly 50 machine tools such as top-of-the line 3D CAD/CAM, simultaneous five-axis machining centers, composite machines, NC lathes and electric discharge machines. (2) Vacuum heat treatment: We are approved by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., etc., and can carry out vacuum heat treatment based on AMS standards. (3) Nondestructive testing: We perform magnetic flow inspections based on ASTM E1444 standards. (4) Supply chain management: We can provide a one-stop service by constructing a supply chain with companies that are certified to perform special processing of welding, surface treatment, etc. [Representative's message] We are skilled at multi-kind, small-quantity and intermittent production and have been actively focusing on Monozukuri (manufacturing) using our adaptability and flexibility. Many of our products are used in leading-edge industries where high safety and reliability are required. We strive to ensure quality by, for example, obtaining heat treatment approvals and nondestructive testing approvals by various major aircraft manufacturers, in addition to ISO 9001 and JIS Q 9100 quality management certifications. We contribute to society by our outstanding processing techniques and strict quality control. This is our philosophy. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We do business with IHI Corporation, Nuclear Fuel Industries, Ltd., Shimadzu Corporation, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, etc., and intend to increase customers. [Market share/Ranking] Our processed parts are used for aircraft equipment of The Boeing Company through transactions with major domestic companies related to aircraft equipment.
