[Company strength]
In our part machining we do more than just manufacture products according to drawings. We also excel at making VE and press working proposals by considering machinability. We can handle all processes for assembly production in-house from design and development using 3D CAD to manufacturing and assembly. We apply the technologies we have been accumulating for many years to propose optimal designs that satisfy the requested specifications with consideration for costs. We have an extensive network established in our industry-university collaboration activities, and accept over 3,000 visitors a year. Our network links individuals and companies with mechanical, electrical, software, design, and various other skills.



[Business description]
Our company designs and manufactures metal products on consignment for various fields including the medical, optics, amusements, semiconductors, information and communications, ocean, robotics, and aerospace industries. We handle a wide range of processing from metal brackets to single-piece and mass production of housings and machines. Our core technology is thin sheet metal machining by precision sheet metal working, pressing, and so on. Our molding and welding finishing technologies are particularly highly appreciated for our capabilities of handling difficult-to-machine materials. You can entrust everything to us because we can also perform machining and assembly ourselves. We have a design and development division in-house and are ready for consulting about manufacturing without drawings.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We have made VE and press working proposals that have reduced costs for medical devices and pump brackets by 90 to 95% compared with machining. We have a lineup of various production machines from machining equipment for single-piece production to mass production equipment. We support a wide range of production from single articles to mass production of up to hundreds of thousands of pieces per lot. Our welding technology is even applicable to manufacturing housings for hospitals and other products that require a high-quality appearance. We support arc welding and also welding aluminum or other sheets as thin as 0.5 mm using a high energy density fiber laser welder.

[Representative's message]
Our company presents products at several exhibitions every year in Japan. We have our own production site in Tokyo only. We also have a history of manufacturing products in collaboration with partners with excellent technology in Higashiosaka, Niigata, and other parts of Japan. We are planning to expand our network for machining and product development. We believe that our products are competitive overseas in fields requiring high reliability and added value, such as the ocean, aerospace, and defense industries. We will plan sales channel development through the Internet and so on. We will also acquire ISO 9100 quality standard certification for the aerospace and defense field and publicize our company to overseas enterprises.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We have three employees assigned as technical sales staff to deal with major companies and other new customers. We also make proposals about changing processing methods and product shapes. Our dedicated design and development staff are in charge of consulting on mechanical design from the concept stage. We will reflect requests in specifications after meetings. We opened Garage Sumida in April 2014 as a general consultation office for Monozukuri craftsmanship. We are continuing our activities to produce new business, including product development consulting, technical support for a manufacturing startup, and collaboration with the new business development departments of major companies.

[Market share/Ranking]
Our company is the exclusive supplier of antenna brackets for mobile phone base stations for a manufacturer that has a market share over 40%. Our own market share does not matter because all the products we design and develop are customized.

[Authorization/Certification]
We have already acquired ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification and are now working to acquire the JIS Q 9100. Our business has received management innovation plan and specific R&D plan approval.

[Joint research and development]
Shibaura Institute of Technology, JAMSTEC, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, and so on: Deep-sea explorer EDOKKO 1. We designed and manufactured an aluminum frame body that withstands even deep-sea pressure for photographing and collecting organisms living under the sea as deep as 7,800 m. We are engaged in many collaborative activities with universities based on our achievements in this project. This includes manufacturing metal containers with Chiba University for neutrino observation equipment that is used several thousand meters under the ice at the South Pole.
