[Company strength]
Our company is a factory specialized in wooden piles. Our overwhelming stock of logs and capability to conduct all stages of machining processing enables quick turnarounds and stable work progress that other companies cannot achieve. We established a table of in-house specifications for dimensions and quality by considering the JAS standards and the opinions of on-site workers. We also make use of our know-how that we have cultivated through in-house construction work to provide design consulting services and propose construction methods. We have developed wooden gutter covers and bridges (registered as “Made-in-Niigata” products) by in industry-university-government collaboration. We have also presented our technology at a technical release meeting of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers. We have a corporate culture of always improving our technology as a woodworking pioneer.

[Business description]
Our company manufactures and sells wooden materials for civil engineering works under our in-house integrated system, and particularly wooden piles to reinforce soft ground. Our main customers are general contractors.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our wooden piles for reinforcing soft ground are very environmentally clean products compared with concrete and steel pipe piles. They consume less energy in manufacturing, provide ground storage of CO2 fixed during growth, and do not contaminate groundwater. Wooden piles are not inferior to any other method in performance, and they have recently been found to be effective as liquefaction countermeasures. Our products also have excellent cost efficiency because plant equipment and large heavy-duty machines are unnecessary. Wooden piles reinforce soft ground and support superstructures with peripheral surface frictional force that is not available from any other method or product.



[Representative's message]
Our company has full knowledge of the effects of wooden piling in Japan. ASEAN countries have more soft ground than Japan, and we will sell our wooden pile products to Japanese companies in these countries for local factory construction and infrastructure improvement works. This will contribute to the economic development of these countries. Japan has a sufficient stock of timber resources for wooden piles (in mountain areas). We will also contribute to the restoration and development of Japan's forestry by creating these uses of wood resources.



[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We are trying to improve our manufacturing performance by upgrading our pile processing machines (ring barkers, piling machines) to equipment capable of processing even long, large-diameter lumber. There are no other places in Japan where the same equipment is installed. We will strengthen our collaboration with wood industry associations and private material producers in both Niigata and Nagano Prefectures to consolidate the supply of lumber for wooden piles.

[Market share/Ranking]
Our market share and ranking are unknown. Our main commercial zone is from the Kanto Koshinetsu region to the Hokuriku region.
