[Company strength]
We have a sufficient number of optical thin film designers in-house, so we can meet customer requests with speed and close attention to detail. We will manufacture high-quality products for our customers in our fully equipped environment including cleanrooms. The precision required for optical components is becoming higher. We believe that coating these products should be based on theory and data, rather than experience and instincts from past projects. This is why we focus on accumulating basic data and theoretical analysis. Our strength is based on these efforts in combination with the number of film designers we have on staff and our customized technology for the customer’s use and purpose. 

[Business description]
Our company provides a wide range of manufacturing from single piece prototypes to mass production. We support optical thin film formation fields, such as ultra-low-reflection AR treatment, UV cut, IR cut, BPF, high reflection mirror coating, metal films, and transparent conductive films. Our coatings can be applied to various base materials including glass, resin, and film. We offer consignment treatment in which we need to be sent the base materials, and we sell products in finished form by procuring the base materials ourselves. We will offer new added value for advanced optical products by applying optical thin films that work in various different ways (e.g., light transmission and reflection).

[Strength of products/technologies]
We possess optical thin film manufacturing equipment including serial IAD (ion-assisted deposition) systems for mass production and IBS (ion beam sputtering) systems for high-precision film formation. We also possess RAS (radical assisted sputtering) systems for reproducing high-quality optical thin films at low temperature. We can provide various advanced optical thin film coatings. These include anti-reflective films with the industry’s top permeation level and dramatically densified hard anti-reflective films. We also offer functional thin films (e.g., with anti-static and water-repelling properties) and infrared transmission films in white or other requested colors. 

[Representative's message]
Our business is mostly within Japan, but our company has grown by earning a great deal of trust from major corporate customers through the quality and good responses we provide. We have particularly strong technological capabilities in the field of laser optical coating technology. Our capabilities are second-to-none, even compared to globally famous manufacturers. We hope to actively expand overseas through these strengths and enhance our technology and quality even further. We have high expectations of this website for attracting new customers. 

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Last year we started the process of relaunching our corporate website and catalogs both in English and Japanese. We are doing this to provide new customers and overseas customers with constant access to information on our technologies. Our preparations are almost complete, so we are currently trying to enhance the content even further. Our sales force includes four dedicated domestic Japanese sales representatives, as well as engineers who can provide product information at the customer’s site. This allows us to provide sufficient sales and technological support for new customers. Our overseas expansion efforts are overseen by experienced overseas sales staff in addition to multiple engineers who have participated at overseas academic meetings as presenters.
