Aqua Tech Co., Ltd.

We are a vacuum cleaning and drying machine manufacturer doing business in many countries.

We are a manufacturer specialized in vacuum cleaning and drying machines for removing impurities including oil, chips, and contamination on metal parts of automobiles, light electrical appliances, and electronic components. We offer cleaning machines, cleaning agents, and other devices as well as consultation on these items. This is based on our track record accumulated in 40 years of experience in this business. Vacuum cleaning does not use water and dries a material in a vacuum, so it does not require drainage or cause the material to oxidize. It dramatically enhances adhesiveness in post-processing, such as coating, plating, and vacuum deposition. This treatment has many merits such as preventing iron material from rusting, and discoloration of copper and brass materials. We have delivered 52 units to 49 companies in nine countries, and we intend to increase our focus on overseas expansion.

[Company strength]
Our company has been dedicated to cleaning for 40 years. We have four fully automatic vacuum cleaning and drying machines and six manual cleaning machines on our premises for demonstration and other customer needs such as company visits. Our experienced, knowledgeable engineers can also offer comprehensive consultations on cleaning agents and other devices. Our guiding principle is do the job right away, be sure to get it done, and keep trying until it’s done. This is what makes us strong.

[Business description]
We are a manufacturer specialized in vacuum cleaning and drying machines that remove impurities including oil, chips, and contamination on metal parts of automobiles, light electrical appliances, and electronic components. The scope of our operation includes selecting cleaning and drying conditions as well as manufacturing, assembly, transportation, installation, trial runs, and after-sales services. Our products are used in Japan as well as many other countries, such as China, Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico, and the U.S. We plan to aggressively expand overseas with our drying machines.

[Industry]
Precision machine manufacturing and distribution (vacuum cleaning and drying units)

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our vacuum cleaning machines do not involve water or wastewater in their operation, which makes drainage unnecessary, and helps protect the environment. There is no oxidation, because the materials are cleaned and dried in a vacuum. This means that post-processing such as coating, plating, and vacuum deposition can be quite effective due to dramatically enhanced adhesiveness. Iron materials do not rust after cleaning, and there is no discoloration of copper and brass materials. The cleaning agent in our built-in vacuum deposition and regeneration unit remains brand-new, as it is constantly evaporated and filtered. The cleaning agent for exhaust air is also recycled, and consumption has been reduced to one-fifth to one-tenth compared to the previous model. We summarize this information in our documentation, and display it when we participate in exhibitions. Details are available in separate documents such as the outline of eleven features of our AQA vacuum cleaning and drying machine.

[Representative's message]
Cultivating the domestic Japanese market is most important issue for us. We intend to put our primary focus on acquiring customers in Japan, while aggressively tapping overseas markets. These initiatives are defined in our current policy. Our customer acquisition method is to participate in various exhibitions in Japan and overseas to promote recognition of our company. We exhibit our actual vacuum cleaning and drying machines at the venue, and bring potential customers to plants in Japan or trial runs so that it leads to a contract. We plan to enter Mexico and Thailand as our target markets. Vietnam is also under consideration. We may add other markets to this list when we complete further research.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We exported our first vacuum cleaning and drying machine to Taiwan 18 years ago, and since then our company has delivered 52 units to 49 companies in nine countries. We have sent engineers to these customers from Japan for after-sales services and maintenance, except for Shanghai, China. We established a fully owned subsidiary AQA Cleaning Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in 2010 to manufacture and provide maintenance services for compact cleaning devices in China. These overseas activities are overseen by a newly established China office of the international business division at the head office, which directly reports to the president, to accelerate decision making.

[Market share/Ranking]
We have a share of around 80% of the Western Japan market, and we are ranked fourth in the domestic Japanese cleaning machine industry. However, our patented cleaning machine for pre-processing PVD vacuum deposition has a 90% share of the domestic Japanese market, and ranks first in the industry.
