[Company strength]
Our company possesses a lineup of the latest equipment for heading, forming, and tapping, and we are capable of manufacturing nuts and bolts. We have some of the largest equipment in West Japan, which can manufacture products up to 37 mm in outside diameter and 362 mm in length. Each piece of equipment is computer-controlled and can operate 24 hours a day. Quality checking is also controlled automatically, so we can secure stable quality and high accuracy. We established SCS in Thailand (Bangkok) in 1996 and BSG in China (Guangzhou) in 2011 as joint ventures for overseas sales channel development. We are proceeding with technical development in Japan while we extend our overseas sales channels and strengthen our corporate structure. We were selected for 300 of Japan's Vibrant Monozukuri (Manufacturing) SMEs by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2014.

[Business description]
Our company was established in 1978 as an automotive nut manufacturer, and we have been extending our business since then, mainly by manufacturing automotive parts. We now manufacture and sell nuts, bolts, shafts, and rivets. Our products include precision forged parts for automobiles and motorbikes and special parts for light electric appliances and buildings. We deal with 4,500 kinds of products.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our company has constructed a high-mix low-volume production system capable of manufacturing various products meeting customer needs, with a focus on automotive nuts and bolts. We are continuing to conduct R&D for our core technology of high-precision cold forging, and promoting order reception and development of new products. We make use of the latest multi-stage cold heading equipment (6 stages). This is how we can manufacture precision parts that used to be manufactured by casting, forging, and machining, and provide high-quality products at reasonable prices. We can also manufacture products from high-strength stainless steel materials by using high-precision hot forging technology, and we can process nonferrous metals such as copper and aluminum.

We think that the foundation of a manufacturing company is the strengthening of technical development power. Our company has been proceeding with R&D for our core technology of high-precision cold forging since our establishment in 1978. We have also promoted sales channel development, and devoted ourselves to receiving new product orders. The domestic Japanese market has been stagnant due to the strong yen, so we established a production site in Thailand in 1996 and another in China in 2011. We are focused on sales channel development. We are proceeding with technical development in Japan while extending our overseas sales channels and steadily strengthening our corporate structure. We also established our consolidated subsidiary C.S. (Thailand) in 2013 to increase our transactions with Japanese manufacturers in Thailand, and we are further promoting sales channel development.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We have a strategy planning section in the company for sales channel development. This five-member team is developing new customers and also taking on the challenge of new businesses. Our staff in the production technology department and manufacturing department have a support system for technical consulting. Staff members in the quality management section are ready to meet needs for quality management. We established our joint venture Summit Chugoku Seira Co., Ltd. (SCS) in Thailand in 1996 as a production site for overseas transactions. We also established our joint venture BSG in China in 2011 and our consolidated subsidiary C.S. (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Thailand in 2013. We are extending our overseas sales channels.
