Ohnosha Co., Ltd.

We are a comprehensive manufacturer of industrial packing and gaskets.

We are a comprehensive manufacturer of industrial packing and gaskets established in 1907. Our current mainline business is engineering plastic processing that makes use of our fluororesin forming technology. We also manufacture metal gaskets, gland packing, and NBR and fluororubber products. Fluororesin processing is our most advantageous product and technology field. We design and manufacture molds necessary for forming. We possess deep knowledge about dimensional accuracy, sintering conditions, and other fluororesin characteristics. We can make use of this to manufacture special form products and products combined with metal products. We have a wealth of processing experience in advanced fields.

[Company strength]
Our company has been handling various kinds of packing and gaskets made of engineering plastics, PTFE fluororesin, rubber, iron, and nonferrous metals. We focus on sealing products. Our advantages are the technical power we have accumulated through a history of over 100 years, and also flexibility. Our main products are fluororesin, sealing, sheet metal, and can products. We have an integrated production system from trial manufacturing to mass production based on our various kinds of accumulated technical know-how. We manufacture products with optimal quality, lead time, and cost in mind, including proposals regarding the design and method (including molds). At your request we can handle mass production while meeting traceability requirements.

[Business description]
We are a comprehensive manufacturer of industrial packing and gaskets established in 1907. We started our history by manufacturing gland packing for vessels (the first gland packing made in Japan, and later adopted for the battleship Yamato). We now manufacture sealing products by making use of PTFE fluororesin forming technology, and engineering plastics by making use of precision machining technology. We also manufacture metal gaskets, gland packing, and NBR and fluororubber products for use at high temperatures and under high pressure. Our products range widely from mass-produced valve seats to parts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. We manufacture parts that satisfy severe specifications and quality requirements for nuclear power and defense use.

[Industry]
Industrial packing and gasket manufacturing; fluororesin product forming and processing; engineering plastic processing

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our company’s greatest advantage is in PTFE fluororesin processing in the fields of products and technologies. We use high-quality raw materials supplied from major fluororesin manufacturers. Our company manufactures products meeting various requests for complicated shapes and high accuracy. This is done by forming, post-processing, and inspection. We use molds or sintering furnaces for forming, 15 NC lathes (including composite machines) and six machining centers for post-processing, and coordinate and image measuring machines for inspection. We design and manufacture the molds necessary for forming. We possess deep knowledge about dimensional accuracy, sintering conditions, and other fluororesin characteristics. We can manufacture containers and other special form products and products combined with metal products by welding, fusing, and bonding. We have a wealth of processing experience in advanced automotive, semiconductor, electric, and chemical fields.

[Representative's message]
We have been doing business with various customers in the fields of ships, chemicals, semiconductors, foods, medicine, defense, and nuclear power as a comprehensive manufacturer of packing and gaskets. We have been involved in this business since our company developed packing for ships in 1907. Our customers now include over 200 companies. We now manufacture sealing products and also parts for the semiconductor, medical, defense, and nuclear power industries, where high-level processing technologies and quality assurance are necessary. This is based on the know-how we have accumulated through many years of operations. We will meet customer requirements regarding cost, delivery, and quality by continuing our proactive investments in equipment.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
