We are expanding our business by making use of our original pressing method.

We manufacture transmission-related parts, which are regarded as being important parts for the safety of automobiles. We developed our original Pre-Mo-Forging pressing method and expanded our scope of business by making use of the technology we have cultivated for transmission-related parts. We have established a system for one-stop in-house support covering from design and development to assembly. We have confidence in processing difficult-to-shape materials such as high tensile steel plates, ultra-thin aluminum plates, thick steel plates, etc. We established a joint company in Changsha City, China in 2011 and another in Indonesia in 2014. We are working on technology transfer by making use of our original Hanya Dojo education system.

Achieving precision pressing using existing equipment by “Premoforging”
Overview of technology
In this method, we combine pressing using sheet metal with forging using metal blocks in order to form shapes similar to those of forged products by using a press machine. The thicker the sheet metal gets, the more often a shear drop is generated in normal cases. In cases where shear drops are not allowed by product requirements, additional machining is necessary. 
 We considered the additional machining to be wasteful and developed our technology “Premoforging” to manufacture products with smooth surfaces like those of products after machining and without fracture surfaces by using a press machine. We can reduce costs by 30 to 40 percent as compared to machined products.
(1) Processing can be performed by a conventional press machine. *A dedicated press machine is not necessary.

(4) With respect to a hole of a socket-and-spigot joint into which its paired part is inserted, obtaining 60% or more of the shearing surface of the inside diameter of the hole to achieve a coupling function

[Company strength]
We are strong in one-stop in-house support covering from development and design to assembly (pressing, welding, assembly, machining, and coating). One of our advantages is that information sharing and feedback can be carried out immediately. We are involved in technology development in the field of metal pressing. We have worked with high tensile steel (1180 MPa class), which is difficult-to-shape material, and ultra-thin aluminum processing (0.35 mm). We also developed Pre-Mo-Forging as a new method that makes it possible to manufacture products like forging by using a conventional press machine. We are working on human resources development via technology transfer by making use of our original Hanya Dojo education system.

[Business description]
We have a history of more than 75 years. We have strength as an automobile parts manufacturer in manufacturing transmission-related parts, which are regarded as being important parts for the safety of automobiles. We (1) manufacture transmission-related automobile parts, (2) functional automobile body parts, and (3) automobile cooling parts. We also (4) design and develop AGVs, (5) conduct testing and R&D, and (6) provide technical support, etc.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We excel at processing parts that are generally regarded as being difficult to shape. This includes the following.
(1) Ultra-high-tensile material: We have realized weight reduction and strength enhancement at the same time by using 1180 MPa class high tensile steel plates.
(2) Aluminum plates: We provide aluminum plate processing of the thinnest class (0.35 mm) in the automobile industry.
(3) Steel plates: We provide processing of 12 mm thickness class steel plates, which are the thickest in the automobile industry.
(4) Pre-Mo-Forging: Our process can create a shape like forging with a pressing machine by fusing pressing with forging. Machining is omitted, so the cost can be reduced by 30 to 40 percent.

We aim to further expand our business opportunities and reception of orders in addition to our current business development efforts such as participation in exhibitions. We established a joint company in Changsha City, China in 2011 for overseas expansion. A new factory was completed in October 2014, and operations have begun. In 2014 we also established a joint company in Indonesia. We hope to actively develop our business in Japan and abroad and expand the scope of our business.

We have assigned staff in charge of new transactions in our sales department as a point of contact for inquiries from customers. Our staff in the engineering department and new business development office will respond to technical consultations, and visit the customer directly if necessary and provide technical explanations. We have assigned a sufficient number of staff members who can communicate in English, Chinese, and Indonesian for overseas companies. Examinations including technical matters by local staff are possible.
