[Company strength]
We have focused on developing human resources through systematic on-the-job training to foster versatile employees and received an awarded for “Job-Creating Corporation – Excellent company thriving by developing and using human resources” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. We have our own research laboratory to develop new technologies, improve existing processes and reduce substances which cause an environmental burden. Leveraging our excellent human resources and technologies, we constantly provide products meeting ever-changing market needs and deal with many of Japan’s leading manufacturers and primary parts makers. We have contributed to the industry as a whole as a member of industry organizations such as the Federation of Electroplating Industry Associations, Japan and its Shizuoka branch.

[Business description]
We perform surface treatment, mainly plating, for a wide range of products including parts for automobiles, motorcycles, marine engines and electronic devices. We have conducted research and development on environmentally friendly surface treatment techniques and treatments to be applied to new materials, in line with ever-changing trends.

[Strength of products/technologies]
To precisely meet customers’ needs in terms of delivery time and quantity, we have established an integrated system and efficient production line covering R&D, production control and quality control. We are working to comply with RoHS and REACH (SVHC) regulations through continuous efforts in switching from chromate treatment using hexavalent chromium to chemical conversion with trivalent chromium, using lead-free electroless nickel, and environmentally friendly waste water treatment.

We strive to create a good living environment and rich culture by reinforcing our manufacturing technologies that we have accumulated for 60 years since our foundation. We are fully committed to contributing to society through expansion of our surface treatment technology to new fields.



[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We established B. S. Kamiya in Ayuthea in 2004 and Kamiya Riken (Thailand) Saraburi in 2014 in Thailand and supply parts with manufacturers from Japan and other countries located there. We invite technical trainees from Thailand and send Japanese technicians to Thailand for technical exchanges to improve production engineering in our plants overseas.
