[Company strength]
Our large JTEKT machining centers enable processing up to diameter 2,400 mm, 1,800 mm in height, and 5,000 kg in weight. We are capable of a feed speed of 42 m per minute, so we can deliver large machined products in a short time at low cost. Quality assurance is another focus in our operation. We introduced a large scanner-type 3D measuring machine to enhance and stabilize quality regardless of the size. It handles up to 2,000 mm (x axis) by 3,000 mm (y axis) by 1,500 mm (z axis), and 5,000 kg in weight. The feed speed is 27.6 m per minute. We are also asked to use this large scanner-type 3D measuring machine to measure large products that other companies cannot handle.

[Business description]
Our company manufactures parts for ship propulsion engines and generator engines for use on land and sea. We mainly use large machining centers. We produce parts such as engine blocks, moving parts inside engines, pressure regulating valves, pumps, and fuel system parts that are critical for engines to perform their normal functions. Our main manufacturing method is machining, but we also offer grinding and polishing services with appropriate equipment, and we conduct assembly and QA processing before shipping, depending on the product. The parts we manufacture are used to support the marine industry around the world.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Cylinder blocks are among the most important engine parts, and their cam holes and crank holes are also highly significant. We offer precision boring services for these parts. The maximum hole size is diameter 90, and 860 mm (about 10 D) in length. Our strong points include our use of general-purpose horizontal machining centers and blades to lower the initial capital investment (dedicated machines are more common in the industry). Our integrated manufacturing process also reduces the lead time, and we ensure precision by making use of 3D measuring machines.

Our company takes measurement seriously, and all our machined products, including large products, are measured before being shipped. Our strength lies in our high-mix small-lot repeated production from single articles through the use of our FMS (horizontal 800 square, 40 pallets). We can also provide assistance as an additional workforce or consignment manufacturing in a timely manner if we are provided with necessary jigs, tools, blades, or programs.
