We have a strong presence in machines and plants for brewed foods.

We have been manufacturing and selling machines and plants that produce brewed foods such as shoyu (soy sauce), miso (soy bean paste), sake, and shochu. Since our foundation in 1933, we have met the diverse needs of our clients from small equipment to large plants using our accumulated experience and know-how. We have incorporated the skills of our experienced masters into a database using the latest control technology and have used it to create a modern automation system. We have a domestic market share of 80% in the field of automatic koji-making equipment. We deal with foreign companies in over 20 countries in Europe, the US, and Asia. We have a wealth of experience in joint research and development with various universities including Tohoku University.

Engineering capability backed by outstanding brewing production technology:
We have systematic brewery-related element technology and provide total engineering services for perfectly balanced, efficient plants including factory buildings. As the demand for Japanese foods grows worldwide, we are expanding internationally. Currently we do business with companies in over 20 countries in China, the US, Europe and many other regions. In the food industry, we have delivered our diatomite filtering equipment or powder sterilization equipment to purchasers in and outside of Japan. In 2007, we were selected as one of the “300 of Japan’s Vibrant Monozukuri (Manufacturing) SMEs” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

Since our foundation in 1933, we have been manufacturing and selling machines and plants that produce brewed foods such as shoyu (soy sauce), miso (soy bean paste), sake, and shochu. We can meet various needs, ranging from small equipment to large plants, and provide total engineering services. We are proud of our market share in the domestic koji-making field of about 80%.

Advanced systematization of masters’ skills 
We express various element techniques, including raw material cereal thermal treatment techniques, microbial culture fermentation control techniques, solid-liquid separation techniques, and sterilization techniques, in a logical way and design and manufacture machines accordingly. We have incorporated the skills of experienced masters into a database using the latest control technology and have used it to create a modern automation system. Recently we have developed various products based on our own unique technologies such as filtering techniques and powder

In Japan, we take various measures to attract Japanese consumers and companies by continuing to exhibit our products in Fooma Japan and selling brewing machines as well as diatomite filtering equipment (Sunifilter) and powder sterilization equipment (Sonic Stellar). We set up a local company in China to handle business in the country. We are steadily selling our products including solid culture equipment to European customers. We intend to develop applications of our brewery technology and provide products related to diatomite filtering and powder sterilization to customers, thereby contributing to society.

We have set up dedicated teams to deal with business in and outside of Japan. We set up the Overseas Business Department to cope with an increasing number of inquiries from overseas. We have gathered competent staff from across various departments to swiftly deal with business outside Japan. We have in-house staff who can communicate in English and Chinese.
