Other presentation
[Company strength] Our company has sufficient equipment (more than 40 lathes) and engineers (more than 60) ready to manufacture small laboratory products and even large plant products 600 mm in diameter. We can consistently and continuously assist customers with small-scale research to large-scale production. The glass materials that we handle include borosilicate and also fused quartz. We can even propose equipment combined from two glass materials on request. Another of our advantages is our design and development team. It consists of more than 30 people ready for consultations about the design and development of glass products and also glass devices and processes. Naturally we accept orders even for a single piece. [Business description] Our company manufactures, imports, sells, and manages physicochemical glass instruments and devices. We have been brushing up our technical power for over 60 years, particularly in manufacturing physicochemical glass instruments. We make use of this technical power to provide physicochemical glass products with high accuracy and functionality to meet various orders, even including customization. We provide physicochemical equipment that mounts glass instruments for researchers in the chemical, pharmaceutical, new energy, and semiconductor fields. We design, develop, manufacture, sell, and maintain such equipment under an integrated system. We also manufacture, import, sell, and manage vacuum equipment and electronic automation devices and machines. [Industry] Physicochemical glass instrument and device manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] Our unique triple-tube reaction vessel with medium baffle is globally unparalleled. It has both visibility in a hyper cryogenic area and high heat exchange efficiency (three times that of our conventional products). This vessel enables efficient and accurate temperature control in a wide temperature range (-120 ºC to 250 ºC). It also enables a great reduction of the batch schedule including preparation (40% down from our conventional products). We can manufacture rotary evaporators as production equipment. These range from 10 L to 200 L, which is the world's largest capacity. [Representative's message] Physicochemical glass products and devices that are more enhanced and specialized are becoming more significant at chemical research, development, and production sites, which are becoming more enhanced, complex, and diversified. We hope to further evolve our accumulated manufacturing technology together with our customers and provide unique products that meet the needs of each researcher in more fields and industries. We are now rapidly making preparations such as site establishment to further spread our physicochemical glass products to overseas markets. These unique, Made-in-Japan products are highly appreciated overseas. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We visit major users and universities directly from our 11 sites in Japan (Kumamoto, Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, Okayama, Ehime, Fukuoka, Hiroshima × 2, and Yamaguchi × 2). We have an overseas sales department at the Kumamoto head office for marketing outside Japan. It assists overseas group companies with activities and support for overseas users. Our support is available in English and Korean. We are planning to employ more global resources in future. [Market share/Ranking] We have the largest volume of shipments in Japan for hyper cryogenic reaction vessels and devices made of glass. Our products have been provided to all of the top 10 companies in the chemical industry in Japan. We have provided our products to 100% of the top 10 pharmaceutical manufacturers in Japan and 35% of the top 20 pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide. Our total of glass plant product exports is the largest among Japanese manufacturers. [Awards and media coverage] [Awards] None.
