[Company strength]
Our heading facility consists of 2 lines: one for cold forging and the other for hot forging. This allows us to manufacture various products from M6 to M72 in high-mix low-volume production.

[Business description]
Our company is a bolt maker. We manufacture hexagon bolts, hex socket head cap bolts, and other special bolts through cold forging and hot forging. Our bolts are produced under an integrated production system from raw materials to heat treatment. They are sold to the construction machinery, automobile, and industrial machinery industries. Our heading technology allows us to manufacture and sell headed parts for automobiles. We recently established an integrated production system for gear products, which covers all the processes from raw material to machining, carbonitriding, and grinding.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Shoe bolts (M12 to M36) in caterpillar running crawler belts for construction machinery (bulldozers and power shovels) are required to have high strength of 1100 MPa to 1300 MPa. Our company was early to adopt medium carbon boron steel, and our products are recognized for their cost effectiveness, cold and hot forging technology, and uniform, high quality heat treatment. We now receive orders from all major Japanese construction machinery makers.

Our company established a global distribution system to follow our customers moving overseas, which uses our headquarters as the focal point. We intend to enhance our technological strength for bolts as well as for gears. This will be done so that we can contribute to the development of both industries by continuing to supply high quality products for years to come. 

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our sales representatives generally have 5 years of field experience, and they are capable of submitting quotes after clarifying the customer’s needs and conveying them to engineers. Our Chinese plant functions as a point of contact regarding overseas expansion, especially in China, and we have a sufficient number of staff in charge of sales promotion.

[Joint research and development]
Joint development with the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and Fusokiko. We established a warm forging technology in which steel material is fabricated into bolts at a higher temperature than cold forging for conventional bolts. This is done using ultra-high-strength steel developed by NIMS. The resulting ultra-high-strength bolts realized a proof stress of 1800 MPa in the tension test, indicating that they are 10 times stronger and safer than conventional bolts.
