We produce synthetic fiber machines, parts for semiconductors, foods, and medical treatment.

We have expanded our business from plating to manufacturing synthetic machines. We have unique techniques such as fine-hole machining by drilling hollow fiber nozzles. We design and manufacture static mixers, semiconductor manufacturing device parts, precision parts for medical treatment, and machines for business circles such as micro-pore machines. We open business circles by expanding applications. Our products, for example, are adopted in the food business by introducing a static mixer into a heat exchanger. We have implemented hard chromium electroplating since our founding through an in-house integrated system covering design, machining, plating, assembly, and testing.

[Company strength]
We perform hard chromium electroplating which we have done since our founding in-house. We have an in-house integrated system bringing about that handmade feeling, which covers all processes from design, to machining, plating, assembly and test working. Our accuracy and quality which is on the micron level and has been cultivated in the synthetic fiber business circles for many years, is regarded highly in all business circles.

[Business description]
We mainly design and produce synthetic fiber machines and their respective parts. We recently also produce orders for machine parts in all categories of business such as semiconductors, foods and medical treatment. (The sales ratio is a little less than 20%.) We carry out technical development while listening to customers’ needs, and make suggestions in our own way to customers.


[Strength of products/technologies]
Our fine-hole machining technique drilling hollow fiber nozzles began about 30 years ago, and there are also other techniques such as laser machining and electric discharge machining that have been developed with advances in technology. We meet customers’ needs for micro-pore machining of several dozen microns by the proper use of drilling and electrical discharge machining. We sold static mixers (static kneading elements) in synthetic fiber business circles for many years, focusing on the function of mixing liquid and powder. A new market using the mixer in a pipe of a heat exchanger has opened up, and we are now looking to expand our sales channels there.   

[Representative's message]
We use the following three methods for developing new domestic markets.
(1) First, we develop new customers by using the Internet and reinforcing our Web site and iPROS.
(2) Second, we develop new customers by participating in business matching (business meetings etc.) through various institutions. 
(3) Third, we expand sales channels and PR of our static mixers targeting major companies in the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan area through the Yamaguchi Industrial Promotion Foundation. We will develop the ratio of synthetic industry to other industries to 6:4 within five years and, at the same time, aim to increase proceeds, by using the means mentioned above.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We assign three members to the mass marketing (abbreviation: MM) team in the General Affairs Department, and they handle inquiries from new customers. This team also takes charge of technical problems, and members of the designing technical division visit customers if necessary to solve problems. We have established agencies in Taiwan, South Korea and India for overseas business, and our president deal with overseas business in-house with one other member.  

[Market share/Ranking]
Our interlacing nozzles (multifiber yarn interlacing nozzles) and air rollers (gas bearings) have the best quality in domestic business circles and are highly evaluated by Teijin Limited, Toray Industries, Inc. etc. We are ranked second next to Noritake Co., Ltd. for static mixers (in shares held).
