[Company strength]
It has been 49 years since our foundation. We have been manufacturing about 4 million small incandescent light bulbs per month. Our incandescent light bulbs are mostly used in automobiles. Our manufacturing technology and quality control have been kept at a high level in order to meet automobile specifications. This is our company’s strength. We have strength in manufacturing technology in glass processing using burners, glass-to-glass solvent welding, sealing with glass, gas substitution, etc. Our quality in automatic inspections and data management satisfy PPM requirements. Furthermore, we are taking advantage of such strengths to provide unique products and after-sale support for our products.

[Business description]
We manufacture and sell small incandescent light bulbs, which are mainly used for the interiors of automobiles. We use our original automatic machinery to manufacture bulbs using materials such as glass, caps, and lead wires. We also carry out quality control. We deal with glass processing and gas filling by using our manufacturing technology for incandescent light bulbs. We are developing new products by making use of our machinery design technology.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our small incandescent light bulbs are manufactured using fully automated machines of our original design. Our products are also adopted as interior light bulbs for domestic and overseas automobiles. We have focused on manufacturing small incandescent light bulbs. We have been maintaining and improving our quality for years. 

[Representative's message]
The sales quantity of the small incandescent light bulbs that have been our main product is on a decreasing trend because of the shift in demand to energy-saving, long-life LEDs. However, we believe that the demand for incandescent light bulbs for specific applications and their manufacturing technology will still remain in the future. This is why we hope to continue to focus on improving QCD and technology, and on developing our niche market. This is why we hope to send our information to overseas countries and expand our business.

We have assigned dedicated staff to the new business group in the development department.
We have also assigned a managing director in charge of new business in order to support inquiries from major companies and overseas customers. This is done to understand problems directly and to propose possible solutions if necessary.


[Market share/Ranking]
Production of automobile light bulbs in 2012: 0.69 % share of the domestic Japanese market, cited from the Japan Lighting Manufacturers Association (general incorporated association). We are the only manufacturer of incandescent lighting bulbs of this type in Japan.
