Nishizawa Co., Ltd.

Our company has extensive know-how on dye production, which has allowed us to develop a fiber that absorbs electromagnetic waves.

We are a manufacturer and developer of wool dyes. We manufacture our dyes by mixing selected materials and adding imported activating additives. The formulas are carefully prepared to provide products with the desired quality and price. We develop chemical agents such as surfactants (for soaps), detergents, and special inks, as well as special fibers that absorb electromagnetic waves. We anticipate that these fibers will be used for applications such as preventing indoor electromagnetic wave interference and electromagnetic hypersensitivity.

Other presentation

[Company strength]
Our company has three main sources of strength. (1) We have a corporate culture that values technology development. (2) We have accumulated know-how on chemical production. We gained this knowledge in our past experience of managing to satisfy requirements from dye manufacturers and major trading companies regarding subtle, nuanced color differences and additional functions. (3) We have standardized procedures that consistently reproduce the same technology.
The production formulas we recommend reflect the individual customer’s manufacturing conditions. We acquired ISO 9001 and Eco Stage certification in 2009 to establish our internal processes and for continuous quality enhancement. We also focus on jointly developing new technologies and businesses with our customers under the Strategic Core Technology Advancement Program.

Chemical manufacturing and sales

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our company has extensive chemical production know-how from over a half century of technology development in our existing businesses such as dyestuff. This is why we were able to receive a letter of appreciation from the Chubu Soap and Detergent Co-operative Association for our longstanding services in relation to surfactants. We have a deep understanding of manufacturing methods in the fiber field, in addition to our production and sales of dyestuff, auxiliaries, and functional chemicals. The dye assortment business for production centers is one of our lines of business. This is how we can recommend functional fibers such as electromagnetic wave absorbing cloth that are suitably fashionable for the final products (clothing). We are currently developing new products using magnetic yarn, magnetic cloth, carbon micro-coils (CMS), and carbon nanotubes (CNT).

[Representative's message]
Our company has developed and manufactured wool dyestuff for local industry. Our formulas have been developed by selecting the materials and importing the necessary activating additives so that the products can be offered at the cost and quality the customer requires. Recently we have been trying to produce high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbing materials, aiming to apply them in the fiber field as well as industrial material fields. We will continue to respond to customer needs while developing technologies in our chemicals operation.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Responses to new customers as well as information gathering and analysis are led and managed by the president. Technical responses are provided by the engineers in charge, and sales activities are conducted by sales representatives. We have reviewed the content of our website in response to the need to be more informative about our technology side. Our company has a limited number of employees, so we will try to take advantage of being an SME to be agile, flexible, and meticulous when responding to customers.

[Market share/Ranking]
The quality of our compound dye is at the highest level in the Bishu area.
