We are developing a flexible mold to machine steel pipes with a wall thickness of over 2 mm using general-purpose press machines.

Our company manufactures metal press molds. Our advantage is mold manufacturing using 3D-CAD/CAM to meet needs for special metalworking, drawing, and press working. Drawing stainless steel and other hard steel pipes (with a wall thickness of over 2 mm) used to be considered impossible. We are developing a flexible mold (patent pending) to enable such drawing using general-purpose press machines. A major overseas automobile manufacturer employed our mold to machine mufflers for their large trucks.

Punching outward from within the pipe produces a fracture and burr at the exit of the hole. The burr is on the exterior, so deburring is easy. Used for heat exchange (cooling and heating) devices We can modify the spiral structure (pitch and groove depth) to adjust the ratio of increase in the surface area, the flow rate, and the flow speed. [Product description] [Edge curling method] We devised an edge curling method by being imaginative and creative (our guiding philosophy) to achieve our wish for curling edges by press molding. We can now curl edges by molding. [Round machining method] This is a method for forming an iron plate that is 4 mm thick and 40 mm wide into a round shape 76 or 50 mm in diameter. This is done by press molding (one-push machining). It used to be considered impossible to bend a steel plate into a round form by using a press machine. This is because it would produce a large gap between the plate ends due to the spring-back effect. Our method (press molding) enables forming as shown in the photo with one-push pressing.
